In speaking with Tom he does several classes ranging from the "pen class" which is about an hour long, to beginner wood turning classes which is a 4 hour class to an intermediate class which I believe is 6 hours long etc. He is a delightful person and as I said so patient and helpful. I would definitely recommend going and taking a class from Tom and look at his gallery too he makes BEAUTIFUL things from bowls, coffee cups, wine glasses, cutting boards and wine stoppers and more!

It has been a year since Christian re-roofed our shed. It started leaking a couple months ago. We…read moregot a real roofer in to inspect and he showed us all the mistakes that were made (nails showing, put shingles on upside down, not lined up). We trusted him when he said he knew what he was doing. We spent over $3k, and then hired someone else to do the interior, as Christian didn't measure up to call him back out. The last thing I want is to talk to this guy again. He didn't work smart. For example, threw all roofing debris directly onto ground (vs. putting a tarp down and tossing everything on it so that he would work smarter, not harder. It was a warning sign that I should have listened to. Even I, not being a roofer, could see he was having difficulty, but again, I'm not a roofer so I trusted him. I had to beg for a write up of all materials used and work done for the insurance company. He tried to manipulate me by saying he wouldn't give me the info unless I gave him a good review. I'm not used to being held hostage to this man's demands. It was a bad experience and now we've found out just how bad. I'm thinking he must have never done a roof before but instead misrepresented his skillset and knowledge. I'm disgusted.

The Fix It Man

Once again Jerry has saved the day for me. I have two dogs. One of the dogs has back problems in…read moreneed of a ramp to bypass the steps in and out of the house. Jerry came out, took a look at the problem, gave me some ideas after I explained that the ramp needed to have a long, gentle slope as eventually my pooch would be in wheels (hind legs). He talked with me at length about options, helping me understand the dilemma and how to work within the parameters of the space. He had some excellent ideas on how to proceed and came up with a solution that was great for Reggie, my dog. Reggie now has a beautiful, functional ramp and the ramp looks well with the house. Jerry even suggested putting in a new brighter, light fixture that can be rotated to highlight the ramp. I stroke of genius! The new light fixture makes it much easier for the pooches to see the end/beginning of the ramp and for me to see them at night. His work is top notch, and uses the best products available within your budget. He is very meticulous and considers all the angles of the situation, such as, no sharp edges or corners for the ramp. He is very personable, easy to talk with even when I am not sure about what to do and able to work with people like me that does not have the necessary expertise.
