I had a…read moreincredibly frustrating experience with this bank's mobile app. I deposited two checks via the app; both images were captured and explicitly ACCEPTED by the system. While one check was available instantly, the other sat in my account without being credited to my balance. Unlike ATM deposits, where you typically get immediate access to at least a portion of a large check, I was given access to nothing. I called on Monday (the day my rent was due) and spoke with an unhelpful representative who told me it just needed one business day to process. Based on that assurance, I wrote my rent check. The deposit finally showed up on Tuesday, so I assumed everything was fine. However, on Friday, I received a notice that my rent check had bounced. It turns out the bank rejected the deposit later in the week, claiming the image was blurry, YET despite the app originally accepting it. Because of this, I was hit with a late fee from my landlord and had to pay an additional $10 for a cashier's check. The lack of consistency and poor customer service cost me time and money. I am not impressed and will not be using their digital services again.
