I am so happy with my Advantis experience!! I visited the Gresham branch last Friday after having a really horrible experience with the credit union I was with. I did some online research and decided I wanted to try Advantis. The offered great new member perks and I wanted to stay with a CU, I do not care for the commercial banking industry, been there & done that! When I arrived I was greeted by the person who is at the front desk, who happened to be the branch manager, Gina. I let her know why I was there and she got me signed in right away. All of the bankers were currently with other members so GINA and I got to chatting and realized we had a connection to her home town in South-Eastern Oregon (very small town!), and had many other things in common which was just such a great way to start me relationship with Advantis. Once a banker became available (less than 10 minutes) I was set up with SHELBE, who was AMAZING!!! Shelbe was very knowledgeable and explained all of the account options so I could make the best decision for my needs and goals! Speaking of goals, has any bank ever asked about your financial goals? Well, I had never experienced that before and Shelbe did ask me, and I was able to actually think about that and let her know which in turn gave her a bit more info on me and what I was looking for. The whole experience and process was efficient and I felt heard and cared about. I have worked in many customer service jobs in my life and I still really value it and feel like most places are lacking in that department these days so to have such great service, not feel rushed, not feel like a number or like they are just trying to get me out to help the next person they took their time, answered all my questions and we started what I consider a lifelong relationship. Not to mention, I had to return to the branch on Saturday because I was having trouble logging in to my online banking (total user error, btw) and once again I was greeted at the front desk and set up with a banker right away (I wish I could recall her name, She sat in the glass window office right behind the front desk) and she was awesome too! She helped me figure out my error right away and fixed me up! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I even ran into Shelbe and she remembered me and greeted me as well! I say all this to say, it feels really really good to bank at a place that cares about you. There are a ton of options out there these days and I want to be a part of a place that values their members, treats them with respect, are real! I recently did an auto loan through Advantis Credit Union, whom I have been a member of for quite some time. With the server hacks of the third party website that many of the dealerships in the area are using, I was not able to do my loan through CUDL. I had the at most pleasure in working with Gary Shimafukuro over the phone and was able to complete my auto loan. They were so helpful in answering all of my questions with the craziness that was happening with the loan itself. I absolutely love working with Advantis because their employees are so professional and just great people. I'm not quite sure where to begin, and I'm not sure of the correct office that Jennifer Donlon works at. I do know however i was the luckiest customer to have gotten her on the phone. Jennier surly went above and so beyound her duties. I am 57 yrs old and have Never received customer service like her. I am so impressed with the service I received from Amber, Kiara, and Alexander. I had made a request for records with a tight deadline. When there was an issue with the request being received, Amber made sure it was elevated as urgent. Kiara followed up with phone calls to make sure it was being taken care of, and Alexander made the final delivery and called when they were ready. He even stayed on the phone until I had them. I have been with Advantis for more than 30 years. I am so grateful to see they are still committed to providing excellent service after the merger with Rivermark. Well done! read more

My teenager needed a bank account and our regular bank was across the street from Gresham located. Bank employee called out sick before 1st appointment, no show for 2nd appointment. Went to the Advantsis Gresham branch and night and day difference. Someone greeted us, got us something to drink and answered questions while we waited. Holy Savage & Ted knocked it out of the ball park!!! I was pre-approved in 21 minutes!!! By far the best credit union out here in the PNW. I have two other credit union accounts and they are not as up to date with their technology as Advantis. I love that I can easily access my funds without an atm or stepping into a branch however, everytime I need to come into one, the Gresham branch is my go to.
