Just paid 8 dollars for a "mango" smoothie. Tastes like banana with some crushed ice thrown in... I know bananas are a cheap substitute fruit to add in smoothies and a lil potassium never hurt nobody but I should be able to taste the mango at least a little! The pharmacist here, Elliott, really goes above and beyond to help even when my insurance and Doctor are not communicating to them what I need. Really appreciate the work he does and the care of the pharmacy team to solve their customers needs Also, they have a great selection on alternative medicine, organic and sustainable pharmaceutical products (as well as your classic big brand staples). Another plus, the pharmacy is open until 8pm, which has saved me more than once from unexpected pharmacy needs, lol. read more

I don't know why it took me so long to write a review! This is by far my favorite pharmacy. It's the most personal treatment you'll ever receive when picking up your medications. The huge chain pharmacies treat you like a number and are locked into a set of parameters that don't care about an individuals needs or story. Elliot is an outstanding pharmacist who has gone out of his way countless times to help me with insurance issues, and even delivered my medication when I injured my foot. Babu is wonderful and legitimately cares about his customer's needs. He's ordered obscure items I couldn't find, and gave me his full attention and knowledge when I was trying to look for natural sleep aids and mood supplements. His warm personality always makes me feel welcome. I moved out of Williamsburg but still go to this pharmacy because it's worth it. :] read more

I've been coming here for years and the pharmacists are always so helpful and caring. They really take the time to explain things to you and do their best to fulfill everything. Its easy to get on the phone with a pharmacist, as well. With the pandemic going on, this is a great place to stop by for everything that you need as they are a bodega and pharmacy in one. There is a good selection of healthy and vegan foods, and a selection of fresh and packaged foods. Prices are a little higher than a grocery store, but you are paying for convenience. This review is for the pharmacist -- I didn't catch his name, but an extremely friendly man with glasses. I honestly got more counseling for my condition and medication from him than I did from my many doctors and specialists -- even offering to help me develop a phased plan to wean off my meds. I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to note the exceptional service provided by the pharmacist and store employees. I've been coming here for over a year and everyone is so helpful. I was pretty sick one day and I couldn't stop by to pick up my script. The pharmacist went out of his way to drop the script off for me! This is why I love local establishments and appreciate businesses like this. PS. If you're looking for a good juice or want to check out a cute pup, this is the spot. read more

I love organic planet the store! The people are always friendly and they usually have whatever it is I'm looking for so the store itself would get 5 stars. My two star is for the pharmacy and I am hoping that he reads this (doubtful but worth a shot). I've never in my life dealt with a pharmacist who is NEVER EVER there. It is so insanely annoying. I usually call in my prescription and will run in to pick it up and when I say every time I mean every time, I go to pick it up he's not there! They always say he'll be back in 10 minutes. Which is sweet they try to cover up for him cause it's more like 1 hour and 10 minutes.... Some days I think it's cause he's only there for 10minutes. I work in the neighborhood and I usually see him walking around smoking a cigarette drinking a coffee. Hi go to work! I loved loved loved their old pharmacist he was great this guy is a dud! I feel so awful for saying this but I am EXTREMELY frustrated and I swear they are losing business. He really needs to get it together. What's the point of even having a pharmacy?! I think I'll take my prescriptions to a more capable place like Northside. read more

I have been using Organic Planet Pharmacy since it opened. The place is spotless and all the staff is super friendly and attentive. Especially the young pharmacist, MIM Is particularly courteous and knowledgeable. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and some days cannot walk. Mim would deliver my medication in person right away. There was one particular time when one doctor had prescribed a medicine that was not meant to be taken with another which I was talking as well and it was MIM who saw it called me and called the doctor. He is such a polite and quiet young man, Quite and asset for Organic Planet Pharmacy. I feel confident to have him as my pharmacist. read more

This store is so nice and the music the employees put is jamming! Sometimes I worry how busy this store gets in the summer and I see the employees stressed out a little however regardless of how they are, they are super nice and easy to talk to. A young man was behind the counter and looked like he was having a hard shift maybe they need more people to help each other out Other than that I highly recommend the green juice and daily detox if you want your vegetables drinkable on the go. Please put prices on your merchandise! It's what all the kids are doing these days...because it makes sense, yo! Really, I would have bought more if I'd known what the costs were, and if the atmosphere had been a little more welcoming. The prices here, as you'll find when you get to the register, aren't great-- but as this is a small convenience store, that shouldn't come as a surprise. Its main good attribute: there is a great selection of natural/organic products, including some scents of Mrs. Meyer's soap that you'd be hard-pressed to find elsewhere, even in a gigantic Whole Foods. I don't know what it says about me that I was a little excited about this, though I do know that the existence this store is undeniable proof that Williamsburg is Disneyland for hipsters. read more

Hey guys, you really need to put prices on your merchandise. It's rude and presumptuous not to. You're making your customers do your work for you, by forcing them to ask what the price is, or to cough up whatever you are surely overcharging if they are too shy to ask. Organic planet has the greatest customer service EVER! They's always fast, super friendly, accommodating, and informative. I love that I can pick up meds (for my dog and myself!!) and get a smoothie all in the same place! They even have a great selection of personal hygiene products. I love this place! It's charming and the people who work there are really nice. They have a good selection of organic snacks and body/health products. Their prices aren't super competitive but it's great if you just want healthy 1-2 snacks in a pinch. It's also much more pleasant than nearby Kihm's. Dude. The pharmacist here is never on time. He's late to work like 4 days a week, and whenever I head over there around lunch, he's gone for like over an hour. It's crazy. I love organic planet so very much. It's a natural foods store AND a pharmacy AND a great juice bar. Their coconut smoothie is literally a whole coconut, which the guy working at the counter picks out in front of you, and no sugar added. Just ice. Absolutely delish!!! They've got a ton of great products as well and great herbal supplements. And they're dog friendly - there's a resident Frenchie. I can't say enough good things about this place. read more

They don't put the prices on their items, it is really confusing and personally makes me uncomfortable while shopping. When I found out the actual price of the items, I realized that Foodtown or that grocery store next to Chalk is at least 1 or 2 dollars cheaper per item. read more

He truly goes out of his way for the customers, and he's the most kind down to earth person--traits I look for in someone who's dealing with my medication. I must say this personalized service is much better than going to a big chain like CVS or Duane Reade. Visited Williamsburg from Miami to visit some friends who recently moved there and forgot my prescription meds at home. My friend recommended Organic Planet. The pharmacist Demetri was so helpful in calling my pharmacy for transfers. He even offered me a free juice from their organic juice bar while I waited. I do like their Pharmacy and the one guy that works there that has a dog is kind and helpful. But the juice and smoothie part of it needs some help, I'm hoping my review will force them to look at that part of it and make some changes. I used to go here every day, but stopped for two reasons. the people making the juices don't use gloves when they are handling the food and they are often handling cash in between and they aren't taking proper measures to provide clean juice/food for their customers. Sometimes I notice they are sick too and coughing all over the fruit as they cut it for the juice. Gross. Also noticed that their coconuts that are wrapped in seran wrap that you can pick out for your smoothies, all had mold on them. I inspect them every time and it's most times they have mold on them. I finally asked the man working there one day if they had any fresh ones in there back that weren't moldy, and he said they just cut around the mold and it would be fine. When I tried to nicely explain how dangerous that is and how bad mold is for health, He started unnecessarily arguing with me about mold and how I wouldn't be affected. He was rude and dismissive. And mold really is a huuuuge health hazard especially if you're eating it! Too bad because it has potential to be a great place but the cleanliness with no gloves, the mold, and the rude man working there made me stop going when I was probably their biggest customer. What happened to Ro who worked there? He was nice and would not have responded like this other guy who is always there now. read more

After waiting so long, I've finally discovered an organic store where I can find foods that go hand in hand with my diet. The staff was amazing and the service was great. However what stops me from giving this 5 stars is for one simple reason. The manager is such a cold hearted brute. The man who made my smoothie was striking up a conversation with his co worker when all of a sudden this man walks into the store and starts scolding at the employee. I felt so uncomfortable. To make matters worse, he walked past me as if I wasn't there. Afterwards, the manager drags the employee whom the man who was making my smoothie was talking to, and I overheard him saying "You're nothing but just a stock boy. If you continue talking to him, you won't have a job here. Understood?". It was cringe worthy to say the least. He doesn't seem to know the basics of management. He's the whole reason why my whole trip to organic planet was deemed a failure. The employees looked lifeless after this man yelled at them. I've never felt so sorry for a soul in my life. If the store had better management, maybe more people would enjoy it more often. No issue with the staff, just the management. I hope to see the manager replaced promptly. read more

I have had the unpleasure of dealing with Babu the manager. As a vendor he ordered my product. He has been extremely rude to my staff, actually heard him on speaker phone calling him stupid and berating him. When I called to find out when he was paying (3 mos overdue and only $36.00) he called me stupid, an idiot... He then started to complain that I called him when he was asleep, it was after 1pm. I have never ever dealt with such an unprofessional and miserable human being and promptly went to the store and pulled my product out of the store. His staff look shell-shocked from being abused by Babu. I work with a lot of their vendors and I will definitely spread the word that they should not deal with such an establishment. Or be prepared to be screamed and cursed at when they are trying to get paid. read more
