They were helpful and friendly upon booking and collecting my deposit. Their pricing was in line with other quotes I received so I felt they were legit. They told me they would call 2-3 days prior to the move to let me know the moving time. Never heard from them. I finally got a hold of them and was expecting them the following morning. Instead I get a text message the morning of the move " This is all my sons the dispatch dept, I had 2 crews call out sick and we will not be able to make it today..." No phone call from a customer service rep, no apologies - a text message?!! Again hard to get a hold of them but I finally spoke to the dispatcher who couldn't have been more rude, no apologies and basically told me my deposit did not secure anything. When we discussed the possibility of doing the move the next day his comment was he needed me to commit to be put on the schedule as if I changed the move date. The next day we got a text survey to click on the link on why you didn't move with All My Sons moving. Tried to call repeatedly to get back my $100 meaningless deposit of which I am sure I will never see. Makes me question if they are even a legit business or a scam.

Jose and his team arrived on time and I loved the text message telling me when they were en route. They packed up my apartment so quickly and they were also careful, making sure to pack everything well. Even with stairs, they unpacked at my new location very fast and even made sure we were happy with where everything was placed. Jose was easy to talk to and very professional about making sure we had a good experience. The team also worked quickly and finished the job in under the 6 hours quoted. On the day of the move, they brought everything we needed (moving blankets etc.) We boxed everything else ourselves before they arrived. The three movers assigned were cheerful and helpful and did their job very, very well. We've moved a lot over the years and this was one of the best experiences we had. They even helped us pick up a Facebook marketplace patio set on our way! Remember to tip your movers - it's hard work!!

The packers and movers were two different crews - one worked Thursday afternoon and the other Friday afternoon - which may have contributed to the problem, because the movers were definitely not pleased with the packers. It got to the point towards the end of day 2 where I just told folx to put stuff down because I felt guilty about how hard the move was on them. Based on the other reviews, I'm thinking I might have caught some of the folx on off-days? I will say they were prompt and polite, and Sway really tried to make up for what he could tell was not the smoothest move. It was not an inexpensive move, but the price matched with other companies I got quotes from. *I'd recommend not asking them to move plants because almost all of the plants they handled lost limbs. Not sure how to get around this if you're a person without a car or just want everything moved in one trip, but I'm glad I moved most of the plants myself. Art was handled delicately though!
