Urgent care is flooded with non-urgent matters and therefore leads to longer wait times. I don't mind the wait. The doctors are attentive and actually listen to me. However, Neszta labelled me a drug seeker right off the bat. I had a molar infection and a broken tooth needing a root canal. I was having fevers, swelling, discomfort, etc. I went in soley asking for antibiotics and mouthwash. I also asked what extra measures I could take to help with my pain. It is tricky with having crohns and taking NSAIDS. This question was targeted towards holistic approaches. Instead Neszta took it upon herself to flag me in EPIC, and accuse me in her written note of seeking drugs. This is a detrimental allegation to make especially to someone who has severe chronic health issues and multiple autoimmune diseases. Every person who I spoke with about her at that clinic, and past paitents all have nothing good to say about her. She talks over you, makes you feel stupid, will not assess you, and will make up her mind about you before you are even seen. She said she is unable to prescribe antibiotics. We had to speak to the Union Corners director to get mouthwash and antibiotics. I am so disappointed in the sheer disrespect, lack of empathy, and crude behavior from her. To go out of her way to try and ruin someone and make allegations is serious.

Have you ever felt that you're not wanted a certain place? That is how I now feel about Northport…read moreClinic (formerly Northeast Clinic). We have been long time patients and have appreciated the professional service provided. I don't know what's changed, but the service has gone down the tubes, but that doesn't apply to all the staff. There are three staff with whom I have an issue, two nurses and one customer service manager. I have had negative interactions with Bethann, RN. On two separate occasions, this nurse has been rude and unprofessional in the manner in which she interacted with both me and my husband. The most recent time was when both my husband and I both had covid. This was our first time (hopefully last) contracting covid. We were given incorrect information on getting medication, she was impatient with my husband. She asked him what was going on with his health and before he could get four words out of his mouth, she was interrupting him in what he described as high-handed manner. She asked me what number I wanted to use as a call back-number and I gave her my cell. We didn't hear back until the next day. Since we were both sick, I didn't want to use the landline (that might give you an idea of our age). Instead of them using the cell # they called the landline which is downstairs in the front room. She then ignored the fact that they called the wrong # and went on to chide me because she stayed late because we didn't answer our LANDLINE. Yeah, I want no interactions with BethAnne from here on out. More recently I wrote my doctor, Dr. Hampton (wonderful) via the mychart messaging regarding chest pains I've been having for quite some time. I received a call from the triage nurse explaining that my matter might require more immediate attention than the appointment 3 weeks away. I told him I didn't feel it was urgent as I've had the discomfort for months. He said he'd check and get back to me. A bit later I had another question and since the triage nurse and I hadn't connected (phone tag) I called the clinic. I spoke with Tammy (wonderful) the receptionist who transferred me back to triage. Josh answered thinking it was Tammy and made a disparaging remark about having to deal with. He did apologize when he realized his mistake, but . . . And finally, I come to the last person, Laura, who is the person I was told to contact with my concerns. I left a voicemail and, maybe 2 - 3 later, I still have not heard from Laura. I love Dr. Adrienne Hampton, and she is the main reason I am continuing to patronize this clinic. I feel very unwanted at this clinic. I don't know why it says I'm in San Francisco, if only!

They had an excuse for everything. A week later, and I still am nowhere near getting an appointment...of course, they blame the other provider...the system only offers this service at one location and no one is willing or able to do anything about it...and two nurses were a bit rude.

The dermatologist removed the basal cell and then I went to the SSM Aesthetic center so the plastic surgeon could close the site. I expected skilled care and a good outcome. Unfortunately, my experience was far from that. The procedure left me with unnecessary scarring and complications. I sent photos of the botched site and returned to the surgeon's office in fall 2024 seeking advice. They recommended a scar revision with a different plastic surgeon. That appointment was scheduled for late February 2025. I went to the appointment. After waiting 45 minutes, I had to leave. I was told at the scheduling desk that this surgeon often double books. If I wanted to reschedule, the next available appointment would be in May. I typically don't leave reviews, but people deserve to know what kind of experience and outcome they might expect. I regret choosing this practice for such an important procedure, especially on my face. If you are considering Mohs surgery, I strongly recommend researching other doctors who have a proven track record of excellent results and compassionate patient care. You might want to avoid SSM Health's plastic surgeons.

Beamsley was my third attempt at finding a primary care doctor who didn't make me want to strangle…read morethem. I'm in my mid-20s and have some medical issues that require management by a hematologist; I'm also a graduate student and very invested in my own care. Previous primary care docs had treated me like an idiot and given me info that I strongly suspected was erroneous. I tried Beamsley on the advice of another grad student (who is also, like me, female), and I am so glad I did. During my first physical, I mentioned that friends of mine in Missouri had been required to discontinue Depo Provera (the birth control shot) because physicians there told them that no one should be on it for than five years. Beamsley, who is also an ob-gyn (I see someone else for that), told me he had never heard anything about such a limit, but he would check the literature. I sort of assumed that was the end of it, but two days later, HE CALLED ME AT HOME to tell me that he had looked into it and found nothing in the medical journals about such a limit. He has always taken the time to answer any questions I've had and he obviously respects my intelligence. He's a little socially awkward, but not obnoxious or insensitive. I rarely like doctors even when I have to deal with them, but I like Beamsley a lot, and I feel lucky to have found such a good PC.

He is the BEST doctor around!! He follows up with you the same day as he promised unlike the other…read moredoctors in the past that who have empty promises. My husband and I have been going to him for years and now we have a daughter who also sees him too! We are just very please with Dr. Beamsley. He is compassionate, friendly, he LISTENS and excellent bedside manners; meaning, when I was in the hospital after delivering my daughter, he would sit next to the bed to talk instead of standing. As for the earlier review about Dr. Beamsley issuing fake absences, I truly find that hard to believe. I hope that individual who made those accusations really look hard at themselves and realize he/she is really wrong about Dr. Beamsley.
