I've been treated for months for polymyalgia rheumatica and, more recently, a radiculopathy. Prednisone, Naltrexone and PT provided inadequate results and a 20 lb weight gain. Severe pain has kept me awake almost all night on multiple occasions. I was ready to try something else. Kathryn provided enormous, immediate relief. I'm told it usually takes a while but that response is often seen with severe pain. I just came back from an intense week at an adult band camp that would not have been possible without her help. However, Dr. Zhou's treatment was painful, and he was distracted by other tasks while treating me. The application of the needles was poorly executed. The receptionist performed the massage, which left me concerned and confused. Ten minutes later, Dr. Zhou came in, massaged me for less than five minutes, and said I was all done and looked better. WTF? Then he tried to sell me a $1,000 treatment package and $60 worth of products. I felt so angry, and my headache was worse. Needless to say, it was a waste of time and money. If you encounter Dr Zhou and his team at a farmers market offering free massages, RUN!
