Whenever I go to Tagaytay, my mom would always tell me, "Buy me a buko pie." At first, I bought her Colette's then it became Rowena's. One day, a friend brought me to The Orient and said, "This is the BEST buko pie."
I was skeptical at first, but after the first bite, he was right! I really wonder how I never knew about this place before. The best thing about this buko pie compared to the others is that it's not sweet AT ALL. The crust is thin, buko is plentiful and not too much sugar. I really felt like I was eating BUKO pie and not sugar and flour with buko flavor.
