I can't imagine the massage therapist assigned to me had any sort of training or licensure. I've had a LOT of massages and that was the oddest one possible. I get a lot of massages for someone who doesn't get regular massage. And this place gave me one of my favorite massages. One review said "hidden gem" and I agree. I experienced two therapists (they switched out) and my son experienced a third. All three were fantastic! I can't recommend the massage enough. read more

It was an okay massage. She basically just used her arm the whole time and was not consistent. I'm pretty flexible so luckily I was fine, but they move so abruptly with flexion and extension movements. The lady massaging my husband carried a phone, she answered at least 5 calls during the massage. The TV is also playing very loudly. Not a relaxing environment at all. The bathroom was dirty. Definitely would not recommend this place. Pay more somewhere else to enjoy your massage. read more

I've gone back and forth for a few weeks now whether to leave a review for Oriental Massage Therapy. I don't like giving negative reviews, and I understand that we all can have a bad day. So, for this reason I'm giving Oriental Massage Therapy 2 star review. My experience at Oriental Massage Therapy was not the professional massage experience I'm used to. The place is really dark inside. Not relaxing dark, but strange vampire house kind of dark. There were a few decorations, but the lighting was way to dark to take a picture inside the shop. I read another review that mentioned "Tui Na" manipulative therapy, but that was not so. There are two ladies who work there and I asked them about Tui Na manipulation therapy, and they both gave me the deer in the headlights look. Lily (Qiong Liu) is the owner and she is pretty thin and probably early thirties, the other therapist is a stalky older Chinese woman. Neither of them spoke very good English, so communication is kind of hard. Lily was my therapist, and the highlight of my deep tissue massage was when she walked on my back. I wasn't a big fan that she just took off the shoes she had been wearing all day and went to stepping on me. I would have preferred it if she would have cleaned her feet first, but that could just be me. Overall the massage was average at best. What really turned me off was when I tipped, and she gave me a look like my tip was unacceptable. I overpaid for a not very good massage, and I tipped just out of politeness. I wouldn't recommend this place, and I should have read all their reviews. The attitude and customer service just isn't there. As I stated before we all can have a bad day, so maybe I was there on their bad day. read more

"Linda" is an excellent therapist. She doesn't speak English well, but I believe I got a 90 minute "Tui Na" (body massage.) Tui Na is associated with acupuncture. Linda stimulated muscles I didn't know I had. The room was lit with candles (or night-lights). read more
