This is a very good buffet of Chinese staples. There were plenty of choices and the place was kept very clean by the staff. I would notice them behind the customers keeping the buffet islands free of the inevitable droppings people wold cause serving themselves. My children all found items they liked and the price was very reasonable. We are from out of town and we visit relatives in the area yearly. This is one place that is on the wife's required eating locations. I'm not giving it 5 stars because, come on, it's a buffet. But it's a very good buffet. read more

I couldn't finish my food, it made me sick to my stomach. The food was old and had mold in the crab Rangoon, would not recommend to anyone.

This was the worst Chinese buffet I ever ate at. I ate there today a Saturday for lunch and left my plate full. The rice was cold and very sticky, chicken in couple of the dishes was rubbery and tasted like had been reheated. I guess that explains why they were not very busy at all on a Saturday at lunchtime. The facility is clean and well-maintained. Food is decent for the price unless you go on Friday night for the crab legs. Last I knew it was about $28 per person if you go for the crab legs but thankfully they offer a normal dinner buffet without crab legs for about $9. The biggest negative is the absolute horrible staff of servers. There seems to be an extremely high turnover rate and it shows. Many times I have walked in and the hostess looks at me and just points at a table without even saying hello. It takes several minutes to get your drink - the soda usually tastes overly sweet and flat. On several occasions I've had to bring my empty glass to the servers who were standing behind the partition talking to each other or on their cellphones. On one occasion I flagged down the hostess and I asked her to find my server so I can get a glass of water. Several minutes later the hostess came back to my table and put a glass of water (no ice) down and looked at me and asked "Is that okay with you?" as she walked away. read more

The service was very poor. We had a server right away who took our drink order but then proceeded to clean a very large table and visit with customers. All the while we had no drinks or menus. Needless to say we left. read more

I have never eaten in the dining room but we get takeout regularly and the building always looks well maintained and clean. Food is good, service quick (and friendly) and the prices are very reasonable. Their crab rangoons aren't my favorite... just kind of plain, but otherwise everything is always good. read more

This is not Chinese food! There are six entrees, two have meat, only the beef and broccoli is distinguishable and it was never replaced while we were there and there were only three other tables! I think the other three reviews must have come from family members of the poor souls who work there. It was so bad we almost walked out after ordering our drinks. This is a poor excuse for a poser Chinese restaurant. The fried shrimp were dry the chicken was dry. Broccoli was all wilted. Wait staff was anything but that. Too busy at the back station talking about boyfriends to check an customers needs. Once we got our table and water the waitress never came back to see how we were doing. About the only thing any good was the egg drop soup! Their take on General tao chicken was abysmal, dry flavorless lumps of chicken? No chicken on a stick but bbq pork skewers. However, the veggies were limp and you guessed it pork was dry. If this place was ever any good maybe after it first opened. It however, is all down hill from there. If you want great asian You will have to venture far from Carthage. read more

Best Chinese place in town! Large buffet with all your favorites and then some. Love their cashew chicken, crab rangoon and spring rolls!

I gave it one star only because I can't give it zero stars. The food was fair to mediocre, we went later so a lot of it was dried out. However the worst thing was not the food -- it was the treatment we received from the "staff". We were actually asked if we were done eating yet so they could shut down the buffet. I'm 5'8" and 120 lbs -- how much were they going to let me eat? Then one employee started vacuuming right behind our table and when she finished, they shut the lights off around us. They close at 9pm and it was 8:45 pm at the time. we stopping eating and paid the full price - I even left a 20% tip-- but I did tell the waitress that the treatment was very poor and it would be the last time we would ever visit. You might have a better time eating there than we did, but you'd better make sure you don't inconvenience the staff and go early when they are still cooking food, not just letting old food sit under the heat lamps. read more
