Everyone is so rude here, I went to explain the situation to the front desk only for them to talk over me and treat me like I was stupid. I was trying to navigate the issue and work as a team as a patient of this office - and they were rude and stated that the issue would be handled. I have read the reviews and am surprised. First of all, I too am an RN of 55 years. Look at the time interval for reading a TB test. It's 48-72 hours. Look it up. 48 hours is the least amount of time you have to wait. Perhaps the paperwork was required by your insurance. I also worked in billing insurances for 10 years. They are the guardians of the medical gate. Not the doctors.They even make up a panel of patients to help them be better. Orion policies are practical and well thought out. Every office is short staffed-even in 2018. They don't keep you on purpose. Maybe they had a patient who required a longer time with the doctor and that pushes them behind. But, if it's you who needs the longer time do you want them to leave because your time is up and your not done? I don't throw around I am an RN or use it to make your point. You are not accurate. Having a rude receptionist has never happened to me but even if it had, I would have just asked if they were having a hard day. They are humans too. They communicate very well. And they go above and beyond. I have seen it and experienced it myself. If anyone has the right to complain, it would be a dying patient. And I am and would never, ever complain about my care at this office. Do you know Corwell is a cooperation? Not even medical. That's the problem-and people who aren't informed. read more

If you can be seen my a provider they are great. They are absolutely terrible at writing scripts, responding to messages, or returning calls. Do not waste your time or energy on this Practice. read more

I needed to call 4 times in order that somebody answer the phone, two of these times I was waiting for about 20 min. listening the music from their system. the other two times, I dialed any other extension # different than the front desk and finally got somebody answering, I ask to be transferred to the front desk, and it was the same... Just music, music, music...for another 10 minutes. read more

I see Dr Prohow and have never waited more than a few minutes. She spends plenty fo time addressing my concerns and we work together finding the best solutions. Very pleased with this practice, including support staff. read more

The great thing about Orion Family is that there are multiple doctors available, if you can't get in to see your primary and you're comfortable going to someone else, you can easily get an appointment quickly. Staff is always pleasant and helpful and all together makes doctor's visits easy. read more

Orion Family Practice is solid from what matters most... it's physicians caring for its people. I am growing old with them... and am very thankful that they have walked alongside me. Their attention to care and solving the problem not masking it is beyond appreciated. Personally, I am forever grateful to Dr. Prohow. Illnesses are cyclical. People go in for one thing and it becomes multiple things. Does it suck to not always get in on the dot all the time... I would always sacrifice for the right solution. So the key is to make an appointment and show grace on days you are trying to squeeze in... and be upfront with all of your illnesses so they can schedule you appropriately. My husband and I love the professional, competent, caring staff at Orion Family Practice. My husband had a massive stroke over a year ago that left him paralyzed on his left side. It is the Orion Family Practice doctors, nurses and staff at large who have assisted the most with improving my husband's quality of life. They are happy to jump through hoops with insurance companies, pharmacies, rehab facilities, etc. I have been with Orion Family Practice for about 25 years now. Whenever anyone in my family is in need, they ensure we are seen quickly with no more than a 10-minute wait. We definitely plan to stay loyal patients throughout the years ahead. read more

Disappointed, disgusted, and thoroughly upset with policies, practice, and office in general. Too busy to see people in a timely manner. Never have appointments open, always short staffed. And hide behind ridiculous policies. Actually made me get "permission" from my doctor to get a test that my employer required. It is NOT up to my doctor no matter what I put into my body. Going to an office that makes sense, has reasonable policies and willing to work with clients, especially when that client is an RN and knows state law over company policy. FYI, you do NOT have to wait exactly 48 hours to read aTB, but they will keep you waiting for as long as they can. Beaumont is going downhill in general, and they aren't helping. read more

Terrible service. I have called for a prescription refill multiple times and when going to pick it up they claim it was never placed. If it is placed it takes the doctor a very long time to send it to a pharmacy. They can be at least 45 minutes late for appointment times then when you're finally taken back into the room you wait for another 30+ minutes before the doctor even comes in. A simple 30 minute visit turns into a 2+ hour process. They are not considerate of any one else's time. When calling the office you can be on hold for 10 minutes before speaking to a receptionist. read more

Great physician's however lousy customer service otherwise. Poor follow up when commincating by phone. Annoying that the only way to get anything resolved is to walk into the office. This time I am on day two for a prescription for sleeping medication...no call and not at my pharmacy as promised. This is standard for me and my phone communication over the years....but love Dr Prohou. read more
