I ended up getting a quote from Guy's Body Shop for $100 less than Scottsdale Collision settled on their price for. They work done by Guy's Body Shop was flawless and more extensive than what Scottsdale Collision was willing to do and for $100 less. She also promised to call the next day with an updated timeline -- but I never heard back. When I called days later, I was told they hadn't even started work on my car and were waiting for Progressive to come out the following week for another estimate. I was shocked since they had my car for several days already and gave me a false completion date. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told they couldn't do anything about the rental cost and suggested I just pick up my car. There was no apology or accountability for the misleading information. Because of this experience, I won't be getting my repairs done here and wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone who values honesty or communication.

From a service standpoint, when the imperfections were mentioned, the owner first didn't reply , and then when he did it was excuse driven. No accountability, no customer service. This company " and I use that term loosely " does not stand behind their work. I would not recommend them to anyone. We now have to have quite a bit redone after just picking up the vehicle.... Recently, I took my vehicle in to have new tires installed. While the rear tire was being changed, I noticed the shocks still had the original BMW emblem on them. This led me to believe the shocks that were charged as new had not actually been replaced. I contacted Alec about the issue, and he said he would refund my money, but I have not received any payment or resolution. He also stated he would repair the part but I will not have him touch any of my vehicles again. What makes this situation even more disappointing is that I have heard of similar issues involving other family members. My advice to anyone considering this shop is to carefully verify all work performed and keep detailed records of parts and repairs.
