This is a sham company. Dee McKenzie (assuming that is his real name) stole my deposit money and never showed up to do the repair job of my deck. When I tried calling/emailing him to see why he never showed up, he just ignored all my calls. When I called him from an unknown number he picked up right away, but when I told him who I was he just insisted there was a scheduling mistake and that he would stay true to his word. The work was rescheduled for another date, and of course he never showed up then either. He has not returned any messages and never offered a refund or apology. Do not believe any positive reviews listed here on Google as I suspect they are fake. Much like his website is full of false and fake information. His business address listed on the website is simply a big vacant residential home that is up for sale. The images of "his jobs" are mostly just images that he took from other people's websites. The picture of him under the info section of Yelp, is not even the guy who came to my house. Please stay away from this company. He has other affiliate companies which I suspect are also sham companies. They are Cape Coral Deck Builders and Prestigious Decks. Please do not become their next victim! read more

The design I had chosen was pretty complex, I had a few companies come out and give me a bid but they didn't seem confident that they could actually build it like I wanted. (I found the design on pinterest). As soon as the owner showed up for the estimate he explained how they would build it and really showed he was very knowledgeable. The workers showed up on time every day and in company uniform. They always cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. It was actually pretty cool to watch their carpenters work. The girls in the front office would call me everyday to keep me updated on when the deck would be complete and just to ask if I liked it so far. The price was actually pretty affordable also. The entire experience was smooth from start to finish. The finished product was remarkable. The deck was flawless from top to bottom. I would highly recommend Orlando Deck Builders. read more

This company went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing experience with them. The owner purchased all of my material with his contractors discount so I saved around 50% on all of material. Before they even began building the deck, they sent me a digital design of what my deck would look like once it's finished which I thought pretty cool. They are family owned and operated so I didn't really have any weirdos lurking around my backyard. The same guys who helped me through the design process were the same ones to build my deck. They were even able to work with my budget. I love the new deck and so does my husband. These guys are the best deck builders in Florida in my opinion. read more

I called them on short notice to build me a deck because I was having my wedding reception in my backyard in a few days. All the companies said they couldn't do it in the timeframe I needed. These guys showed up the next day at 8am and worked all the way until 6pm to make finish my deck in one day and make sure it was ready for my wedding reception. I am so grateful for this company. The deck itself is stunning. I highly recommend this company. They are true professionals and experts at building decks. They go beyond your expectations. read more
