Had our countertops and backsplash done. We had questions along the way so we reached out a few times to get some clarifications on the work being done. These questions were never answered by the owner. Examples include; are the granite countertops already sealed and how often should we seal them? (the reason I asked is because there were some rough spots in quite a few areas and it appeared that there were water spots over most of the surface so we were not sure they were already sealed). My neighbors had theirs done from the same place, and my neighbors did not have nearly as many imperfections or rough spots upon their completed work. The work included a new black sink. I asked what the material was, and how to best take care of it. We received no answer on this. Next, my wife asked the owner why a support bar was not placed underneath the countertops. My wife and I researched how much support would be needed for granite countertops in multiple sources referred to how important it was to have a support in place. One thing that particularly troubled me was that my wife asked the owner about the support bar and he gave her a very difficult time and said that he didn't care what we read. As I mentioned before, my neighbors have the same countertop bar we have and they had a support bar installed without even asking for it. I have been in customer service most of my adult life and understand what good customer service is. This is not an example of good customer service. The reason for the two stars instead of one is because the installers themselves of both the granite countertops, and the backsplash were very professional. The end result the product looks nice. However, we should not have to deal with this kind of attitude from a business owner. read more

Israel and his guys at Orlando Tile & Marble really know their stuff when it comes to flooring. They were a little bit pricier than some of the other places we were shopping around but went with them because of them being a local company and knowledgeable people. The work they did was phenomenal and our floors look great! Only reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating was because there was a bit of an issue with cleanup after the job and Israel has a bit of an attitude for no apparent reason. But if you can look past someone like that and focus on the job they do and their knowledge, you'll be thankful to go with them for your flooring. read more

We were working with Isabel and the owner Israel the first of the year picking out our tile for a kitchen backsplash. Just as we were going to get started Covid hit and of course things went on hold for a while. We decided after months of waiting to see if we could safely have the kitchen work done. We were told by Isabel that they would have their workers wear masks in the house while they were working so we went to the store for a quick trip to finalize things. Orange County was under mandatory masks so we went to the store with ours on. Upon entering neither Isabel nor Israel had masks on and were not maintaining social distancing with us. When we questioned Israel he informed us neither he nor his staff would be required to wear masks in our home while doing the work as we had requested. Setting aside the fact that he was breaking the law what bothered us the most was the lack of respect and consideration for the health and well being of his customers. Someone who shows such lack of respect for their customers welfare which should be a high priority, especially in these times, cannot be trusted to do the work hired for with any due diligence. We decided to leave the store and take our business to a company that respects their customers and we can be trusted to do what is best and right for us their paying customers. We found many companies who were willing to follow the law and put our comfort and safety first. read more

The guys that came and did my floor worked really hard and did a great job of making it perfect. After having no success getting 3 prior contactors to do the job (they all were unreliable and never followed through in actually starting the job or giving a quote), I found David. He was very responsive to setting up a date/time for a quote, showed up on time to inspect, then promptly gave the quote, and was again on time and efficient in doing the job. Also, the damage to the subfloor was more extensive than anticipated, but David was readily able to adapt to get the job done. Some of the replacement tiles I had ordered also had damage, and David was also able to navigate that issue with no problem. Best of all, the price was fair and competitive. The end result looked great and the subfloor is solid once again. I cannot recommend David enough should you ever need tile work done. I know I'll be back and will recommend him to family and friends.

A denial letter is forthcoming. " - FrankCrum General Agency 07/23/2025. Not because they weren't responsible for the installation, but because they are not insured for negligent workmanship. To directly address their continued claim they were misled and a rogue employee performed the install, we have on camera Ricardo Naldi (the registered owner) coming to my home to bid the job, and then himself and three other employees on the following days coming in RNALDI branded T-shirts and in an RNALDI labeled vehicle to perform the install. No one was misled; RNALDI had every opportunity to inspect the site and perform an assessment of the materials to be installed. They sold us the glue and the vapor barrier as evidence by the checks they endorsed and cashed. The result of the work speaks for itself. We relied on their alleged expertise and professionalism, as well as their assurance that their work was insured. I am not sure why either Ulysses or Ricardo continue to state here misleading information or deny responsibility for the work they themselves performed. We will now pursue other options in order to remedy this situation.

If you want to complete your project on time, I strongly recommend that you select a different…read morecompany. We started discussion with S&W Kitchens in February/March of 2025. On June 13, 2025, we signed a contract with them. Work began July 21, 2025. They finished on May 26, 2026. The contract stated that it would take 4 months, possibly 5, to complete the project. It took them 10 months to complete. There was a total of at least 15 weeks (a week being 5 consecutive working days, i.e., Wednesday through Tuesday) where NOTHING was done at the house. Prior to beginning demolition, they required a total of 60% of the contract to be paid. At the end of demolition and rough-in, which took 4 weeks, they required a total of 84% to be paid. Then they wanted payment for the project to be substantially complete and usable prior to the installation of the glass shower walls or the master being usable. That would have been 95% of the contract. The supervising contractor stated that he would not have the shower glass installed until they were paid. I sent his boss a copy of the Florida legal requirements for being substantially complete and usable, and I also hired an attorney. When it came time for the final walkthrough and final payment, they didn't want to provide us with the Affidavit of Contractor's Final Payment, which shows if there are any subcontractors who have released their lien and those that haven't been paid and how much they are owed prior to receiving the final payment, even though we had the right to have it according to our attorney. Then, when we received the document, it was a "waiver and release of lien upon progress payment."

We…read morewent into the Stone spirit showroom in December and we really liked the quartz countertop selection they had. We provided some of the measurements and received a quote. The sales lady, Victoria, took time to go over the selection with us and was very friendly. We decided to get estimates from other places for comparison and by far stone spirit was the most reasonable of them all. The overall process was seamless! The representative came to our house to get exact measurements and couple weeks later, we had our kitchen/bathroom countertops installed in about 3 hours. We were pleased with the end result and would highly recommend them!

We hired Ben Trento to tile our living room, kitchen, laundry room and a small bathroom. Ben…read moreTrento had absolutely NOTHING to do with the physical work. He sent subcontractors, Superficially, the tile in the living room was straight, but there is white mortar peeking up through the brown grout in many places. We pointed that out to him while his people were preparing to grout and his honest estimation is that "They're old men with bad habits, and it is just as good a job as you can ask of any tile company." They splashed grout up every wall in the living room and kitchen and onto all my newly installed kitchen cabinets. We cleaned the cabinets just fine, but the grout had to be cleaned off the walls and repainted. Moving on to the bathroom. The shower floor has blue grout, yes, you guessed it, white mortar is peeking up through the grout everywhere, We had to clean the blue grout off of the shower floor tiles, and there is white mortar as high as the top of the tile all over the shower floor. Now we must find a different tile installer to rip out the shower floor Ben Trento's subcontractors installed and redo our shower. Additionally they set the drain crooked, not a big deal, except it is obviously crooked, and Mr, Trento tried to convince us that we don't know how to measure and it isn't really crooked. Stating maybe it is off by less than 1/16th inch. I would recommend that if Ben Trento is going to do the job, sure hire him to do your job, he is knowledgeable. If he sends over subcontractors, then don't let them into your home unless you want to redo the job through another contractor. So now that we have discussed the Service, and the Quality, Let's look at value. Ben Trento is not a cheaper than others option. His pricing is at the higher end of the scale. He also overestimates a bit, since I returned nine boxes living room tile 10 bags of mortar three boded of bathroom wall tiles. The only reason I mention this is that you are paying for the ESTIMATE. When the contractor estimates additional square footage, you are paying a bonus to that contractor for work and materials that are never delivered.
