I thought any body shop that was "insurance recommended" wouldn't necessarily be the best, but this place was fantastic. We dealt with Tyler, who I believe is the owner or manager of this location. From the very beginning Tyler provided exceptional customer service, getting in touch with us right away when he heard from the insurance. He got us in for an estimate and even gave us an estimate on another part of the car that was damaged (unrelated to the accident). He explained everything and arranged for a rental car pickup for me while they worked on my car. The service was very fast, and the work was completed a day before expected. When we arrived to pick up our car not only was the bodywork pristine (I couldn't even remember where the damage was!), they also cleaned our interior mats (which were quite gross from the winter), and the dash was spotless. Such a thoughtful thing to do! Tyler also spent some extra time chatting with me about the other damage he gave us a quote on (a tear from a snow plough) and gave us fair and honest advice. Should we decide to get this fixed, or if we have any other bodywork to be done we will absolutely come here. Fast, quality work and excellent customer service!

I accepted the repair as I was tired of waiting. Recently I pulled all of the Expel off of the vehicle to sell it. The hood and right frt fender look like new. The Xpel was applied before the clear coat had hardened and pulled all of the clear coat off of the repainted fender. On closer examination I noticed the paint is peeling and starting to rust on the edge. I contacted the manager who told me he would not honor the warranty. Once I told him I was considering small claims court he refused to further our discusions. BEWARE POOR QUALITY WORKMANSHIP

I signed the release documents and went on my way. Now, over 6 months later, they are calling me stating that there is an outstanding balance, threatening collections, and just being very rude. There is no professionalism in this location. I was expecting to pay the deductible upon pick up, and mentioned this. The receptionist stated that it was all covered by insurance company, apparently they were wrong. It is now June, mid pandemic, and they want $1000 immediately or face collections. Like many others, I am strapped for cash at this time. Unable to provide a payment timeline until things are settled with this pandemic and work returns back to stable. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else. A different CarStar maybe, just not this one.

The following week they told me that my alternator needed to be replaced at a cost of $1136.50 with taxes it comes to $1284.25. I then went on YouTube and learned that an older model Nissan's, if the air conditioner compressor is removed, you run the risk of a leakage or damaging the compressor. I then called the Garage and expressed my concerns about my air conditioner compressor to Jonathan. I asked Jonathan to remove the rad fans and the radiator and and do the job that way. He informed me that the Mechanic did not want to do it that way and wants to remove the compressor for my air-conditioning. I really receive my car back on 7 July 2026 and as I drove home, I noticed the air conditioner, getting warmer and warmer. I called the garage and the Mechanic informed me to go in on the following Friday which was 31 July. At that time the Mechanic put a full can of air-conditioning gas into my car and my car began blowing cold air but the closer I came to home the hotter it got . So I called the Mechanic as soon as I got home and he told me to bring it in on Wednesday July 5, 2026. Now during my conversation with Jonathan he guaranteed me that at the end of this process I would have air-conditioning and it would be no issues. The Garage charged me another $226 to inform me that my compressor for my air-conditioning is no longer functioning and that they would repair it for a cost of $1400. Meanwhile, they had my car locked in the garage and I knew they were not gonna give me back my car unless I paid the $226 so I did I would like to know exactly what caused my compressor to fail. I would like to know why you didn't follow my instructions to remove the rad fans and radiator and remove the alternator without touching the compressor to my air conditioning. You decided to do it your way and now the compressor no longer works. I would like you to respond to this letter before I have to take further action. A response is requested. I was guaranteed by Jonathan that when the repair work was done my air conditioner would be operational. It is now not operational and I cannot get into my car when it's hot having a spinal cord injury, which does not allow me to travel in a heated car without the air conditioning, I cannot travel in my own car. If a reply is not received I will be contacting Consumer and Corporate affairs I have already contacted the Better Business Bureau and they are waiting on your response.I will take this to court if necessary !!!

I came here after receiving an estimate from CSN Bemac Auto Body South - 2677 Bank St via my dealership that had more padding on it than a drag queen (replacement parts that weren't needed, etc). They never expect a woman to have taken any Autobody courses at Algonquin, I guess? These guys were able to do the work in a fraction of the time and for less than 1/4 of the price of my original estimate -- which is really what the job should have cost to begin with. Oh yeah and the quality was amazeballs!!!
