I immediately got a weird vibe from the salesman when I walked in. They claimed the store is going out of business with "50-70% off" signs everywhere, but everything had handwritten tags and the prices were outrageous for what looked like cheap, no-name furniture. I asked about one couch I liked, and the salesman quoted me $1,200 after the discount -- way too much for something that felt like swap meet quality. Store has a huge banner outside that claims the store is having a going out of business sale but the "discounted" price on the furniture is basically normal price at other stores or even a bit higher than the normal price. My advice...take pictures of any item they have there and look it up via Google and you'll most likely find the same item at another store for less. read more

Went to this location today since they have a huge banner outside that says 50-75% off of everything and everything was pretty much 10% off. I went in there with my parents as they were looking for a new bedroom set. My mom found one that she absolutely loved however, no one was willing to help us. At first we waited around because it seemed like they could've been working with other potential buyers but as they slowly left, we noticed the staff just sitting around. NO ONE came up to help us out. They all just stared at us and would immediately look and even walk away. Disappointing Experience with Orleans Furniture My husband and I were driving by Orleans Furniture and decided to stop in since we had been talking about replacing our dining room set. We were impressed by the beautiful furniture they had on display and quickly fell in love with a dining table. We decided to order it, and they promised delivery within a day or two. However, it took them over a week to finally set it up, and only after I had to call them to follow up. When the table and chairs were delivered, I was shocked to see that the set was in poor condition. There were fingerprints all over the table, sticky residue underneath, and visible scratches on the table and chairs. When I asked the delivery men if these were floor samples, through the embarrassed look on their face they assured me that they were not and insisted they were brand new. My husband came in to look and agreed with me--the furniture was dirty, clearly not new, and even had a nick on the side of the table that he recognized from the store sample. I immediately called the store to speak with a manager. The person I spoke with denied up and down that the set was a floor sample, swearing it was a brand new table. Instead of offering any sort of discount or resolution, the manager became short and nasty with me, accusing me of calling him a liar. Feeling frustrated and insulted, I told them to take the table back. Despite the awful customer service, we couldn't find anything else that matched our style and needs, so we had our neighbors go to the store to purchase it for us. To our surprise, the store admitted to them that it was indeed a floor sample and the last one available. They even managed to get a better price than we would have accepted if the store had been honest with us from the start. Overall, this experience was incredibly disappointing. Orleans Furniture clearly cares more about the bottom line than their customers. If they had been upfront about the table being a floor sample, we would have still made the purchase, but their dishonesty and poor customer service have left a bad taste in our mouths. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OVERALL!!! This furniture store has really nice pieces, that I ordered a love seat and couch for a really great price on August 1st. I was told that it will ship to the store in 1-2 weeks, but it never came. I understand that there's delays, so I didn't think much of it. I follow-up and they tell me that it will come end of August. That didn't happen either so I called once again and was told first week of September. The first week of September comes so I call to see if my couch and loveseat have been delivered, but I was told it would come end of September/early October instead. I was livid because I keep hearing delay after delay and was even told by the customer service rep from the store that, "other people who ordered the couch have been told later dates, but they come earlier than expected." Obviously that wasn't the case for me. To make up for it, the furniture store reassured that "they will have their workers go to the manufacturer themselves, pick it up, and drop it off at the store." The customer service rep even asked me if I can come in between 5-6pm to pick up the couch and loveseat. I immediately said yes and even double confirmed later by asking the dimensions of the couch because I WILL BE COMING W/ A U-HAUL. They give the dimensions and I say, "thank you, I will see you soon." I come to the store after renting the u-haul and they have the audacity to say that the couch is being delivered to my home. I literally just confirmed w/someone on the phone that I will be picking up!! The same person I talked to said she was the one speaking to me over the phone all day and double downed and said, "it would be delivered to your house," after she told me on 2 phone calls I can come in and pick it up. The experience was horrible because I went out of my way and spent money to get a U-Haul and for them to lie straight to my face that they told me it's being delivered to my home, while trying make me look dumb. I also like to preface that these phone calls were on speaker and my sister and friend (he drove the u-haul w/me to the store) and they both heard the customer service rep say that I can come and pick up my couch and loveseat. As beautiful and comfortable as the couch and loveseat are, I would not come back to this store ever again. As atrocious as the customer service is, at least I didn't have to pay the hefty delivery fee. Ultimately, I think I'm just more mad that the customer service rep lied and tried to make me look and feel dumb than me picking up and renting a U-Haul. I honestly wouldn't be writing this review, if I was given an apology in the first place, but here we are. read more

I could not imagine that I would ever be so happy spending money on furniture. I found exactly what I wanted. It was delivered on time, and the customer service is above anything I have ever experienced. If you know me, you know, I'm a very picky person. I am beyond satisfied and would highly recommend this store to anyone. Their inventory is extraordinary and not the run-of-the-mill inventory that you might find in most furniture stores. Went I'm looking for sofa salesman knew I wanted a sleeper sofa I couldn't find anything then on my way out they stopped me and showed me a couch I liked a lot and had said IM A SLEEPER SOFA He gave me the price that i had said I was willing to spend so of course the manager/owner whoever he is fed me some BS that sounded great and the sleeper sofa so I was happy. So go keep this short sofa came it was not the sleeper sofa I was promised. Yet it is my fault for trusting his word because when I went back to discuss the issue they told me sorry to be bearer of bad news but I misunderstood which is a lie, it's more upsetting that the saleman knows he told me I was getting a sleeper sofa and all the while was full of it. I could of made a scene made a phone call and had anything I wanted. We purchased two bedrooms sets and one dining table in October. Those furnitures are very heavy and we thought they must be solid wood furnitures. Our new paint wall and hand stair railing were damaged during delivery. The paint is easy to fix so we didn't complain to store manager. Next day, we pulled out bed to clean dirt the delivery guy left, we found that the headboard is broken in the back. We went to store and talked to Jocab (store manager), he said it's our fault but he would help us to talk to manufacture. We had waited few days, no response. We went to store again. Then he said they would get a new headboard for us. No show no response! Since this issue is resolved and we purchased another two side tables there. One month later, one side of dining table is cracked. What kind of quality of these furnitures! We talked to Jocab, and he said it's our fault again. We didn't take care of the table. Seriously? One month, the product is damaged. What kind of solid wood they are selling in the store? He said he would take care of it and see warehouse can fix it. No call no reply on emails after that.
