She never diagnosed this even though I've had it in my left eye for about 10 years. If I had known, I could have started the AREDS2 vitamins many years ago to slow the progression. I also know there have been other patients of hers that had glaucoma that she also never diagnosed, and some of them were far advanced. If you're going to use her as an eye doctor, she's OK for getting a prescription, but make sure you get your eyes' health checked by someone who knows what they're doing.

Avoid Puzio Eyecare. They are more interested in maximizing their revenue than making sure you get…read moreproper glasses. I went there because my optometrist suddenly dropped our insurance. Puzio upgraded my lenses to premium lenses without discussing why or the cost. It doubled the cost of my glasses. The bill also had charges such as custom measurements. When I picked up my glasses they said are they tight enough and sent me on my way. After a few days I was still having trouble reading so I went back and got them adjusted. They still didn't work. The eye exam was done differently than I had experienced with in the past and I did not feel it was very good so I went to an optical practice I used before we moved here. Guess what! The prescription was wrong. Puzio did change the lenses to this prescription but I had to pay for that in addition to their overpriced glasses.

I don't think I've ever walked away from a doctor's with a smile on my face. The staff was beyond personable. They were always smiling and were highly receptive of questions I asked. They explained everything that was going to happened and walked me through the entire process. In addition to that, while I was getting tested, they would tell me the results (everything looks good, no issues, etc.). Dr Kong is exceptionally awesome. The exam was done at my pace and I wasn't rushed to pick between option 1 or 2 (she really let you decide what you wanted). And before we even decided on my final stats, she held lenses over my eyes and said this is my current and this would be the new. It was awesome! I've never had someone actually compare the current to the new. And let me tell you, that little comparison made a world of difference! I've been to places where they've given me too strong a script. But after seeing the difference and looking through it for almost a minute, I felt confident with the new lens I was going to get. They have high-tech stuff there that I've never seen before. Makes the whole experience a lot smoother, nicer. You were also in and out! My new patient forms, plus the exams, plus picking out frames took 45 minutes. The office is also super clean! It was spotless and I went at 4 PM. Oh! Word of wisdom, if you want to get contact fittings, don't do it while you're dilated. I thought it would be okay and it wasn't. It was hard to tell if the contact was heavy or if it was my eyes. But Dr Kong was still fantastic! She did a great job putting them in and taking them out, even with my squirming and blinking! 11 out of 10. Will definitely return. Have already referred friends and family too!

I went in and barbara, the optician told me i would have to pay for a new ear piece. This, after not even trying to fix them. I was shocked as i thought i had a1 year warranty. She was quite nasty. A month later The dr sent me a letter saying i was no longer welcome there. he never even asked ME what transpired! I dro v e to his other location in harwich. The girl there took my glasses and ran them under hot water. Fixed!! The problem was hairspray!! Lucky me. i switched to OCB and it was the best thing i ever did. Dr Puzio was so wrong on so many things he did for me. Cataract surgery for example. he said i wasn't ready. OCB asked why i waited so long and did it immediately. And i could see well again!

At 11:30, 45 mins waiting I went up to the desk and asked about how long will the exam take. I was told an hour. I said ok, when will the doctor be seeing me I have been waiting 45 mins. She said oh he won't be seeing you for another 90 mins because he's running late.... So basically I had an 11:00 A.M. appointment... I thought that's what appointments were for not a 1:00 pm a 11:00 A.M.!! I don't think they had one thought, or respect for my time at all. I had to get to work and couldn't stay. I went today to the Cape Opticians location on Route 132 Hyannis to see if they could help me. A very pleasant lady took them and returned not more than a few minutes later and had me try them on. They were perfect. When I asked what I owed them, she said there would be no charge. I'll be going to them when I'm in the market for new glasses.
