I wanted to sell the house, hired him to fix the flooring, painting, fence door. Ramon is a good person. But his team did terrible work. We need to list the property by replacing the carpet to flooring and interior painting (with doors) Before the completion date, I got to travel out of the town ( in fact , Ramon many times extended the work completion date), since Ramon insisted me to pay before the completion, since I trusted, I paid when just 70% flooring done and before the painting started. Paid him more than $11K. Later we found that Flooring: ======= * Bad estimate on flooring material, In general the contractors give us the volume of Sqft to buy with 10% of extra. But while in the middle they asked me to buy 30% more * Huge gaps between base board and flooring * Uneven flooring Painting: ======= * They did not paint more than 50% of the agreed work Cleaning: ======= * After cutting the flooring material , they supposed to clean, since they did very bad job, I got to spend additional $200+ for the mess and debris removal The open house visitors, on my face questioned, "How can you say its newly painted, don't you see how bad it is? How could you pay for this kind of bad work? I got to hire another contractor who can work on memorial day long weekend (while open house is going on simultaneously) . I got to spend additional $6000 Because of his bad work, I could not sell the house, wasted many hours of time and travel. On top that more than $6000 loss. read more

This review has been long pending, finally thought of giving my true feedback. Before the work I was able to reach Ramon very quickly, he was very responsive and quoted pretty decent price to paint, cabinet paint and adding flooring to some area. The paint guys did a good job over all, the floor job and cabinet repaint, adding just 200sqft of floor on existing ones, that too one click laminate, took almost a week or more. With at times floor guy and his deputy fighting and arguing to his assistant taking away nail gun and electric saw. When all the work was done and payment made, I was told that I will get proper invoice and warranty who can he promised before the work began. But post that I was able to reach him just once and that too he said he will have his assistant send this to me via email. It's been months( job was done in April), and numerous calls text message's later I still have neither heard or got any invoice. I chose a licensed contractor for a reason, I know many will say, why bother with receipts and warranty, but there was a reason for going with Licensed and insured agent. read more
