They have not displayed they care about their client one bit. And now we have to pay for her to finish treatment elsewhere because they are only refunding us 480 for failing on their end. And it is a failure, we thought we were moving to get them off and they bamboozled us with this additional cost. I've been coming here for years, ever since I was little. Recently, I have gotten done a tremendous…read moreamount of dental work over the span of five months. All were fillings, spaced out between the months so I could afford it. My last one was completed in May and I was told I wouldn't need any more done. That is a lie. I've had sensitivity in teeth previously never sensitive, severe sensitivity in teeth that were filled in January, teeth being chipped during fillings that went unchecked and unacknowledged, cavities coming back twice as prevalent and painful only a few months after fillings, and fillings breaking within three months after being done. I was told that my insurance coverage ran out about halfway through the series of fillings, so I had to pay over half of the appointments out of pocket, running about $250 minimum per tooth. My final appointment was over $1500. I cannot afford to be spending that type of money on service as poor as what I received. The doctors themselves, including Dr. Sarver, were all very rude, the dental assistants were only polite about half the time, and the front desk people looked agitated I even came in, every single visit. They are also very blunt over the phone and refuse to give explanations on important things like what procedures will be done or even double-checking appointment times. All being said, I am excruciatingly disappointed in what this place has become. It used to be genuine dental work done efficiently, but now it's a glamorized scam that does more harm than good. I will be looking for a different dentist to fix the damages your business has caused, if it's even possible. I would like to ask for a refund, but I know they will refuse. Their business practices are unethical, they lie to their patients constantly, and they do their jobs half-assed at best.

This place used to be good. My parents brought my kids here for years as a favor to me and my…read morehusband who both work full time. My husband signed us up for Care Credit and my parents were always able to simply tell the office staff to charge our bill to the Care Credit. Until our most recent visit in July. Suddenly we were told that an "authorized user" of the Care Credit account had to be there in person. And they only bothered to tell us this immediately before the appointment. They wouldn't proceed with the procedure (already scheduled to be over an hour) until this was resolved, even when my father offered to put the charges on his credit card. So my husband and I had to take significant time out of our working days to deal with this issue. We were told this was a change by Care Credit and that it was not Ridgewood's responsibility to inform us. I think they're confused between "responsibility" and "courtesy". Then it gets even better. Sometime after this fiasco, we received a bill for an additional $500 beyond the agreed to price. The reason for this is that they no longer accept our insurance, so this was the out of network charge. You guessed it, they didn't bother to inform us of this either. Even still, we were willing to pay this, although we honestly felts there should have been a negotiation because they should have informed us in advance, so they should have eaten some of the cost. No, no negotiation allowed. And we still can't pay with Care Credit over the phone. Only an in-person authorized user. Apparently these people really don't want to get paid. Well, as a last-ditch attempt, my husband called again today and was told if we didn't pay by the end of the day we would be sent to collections. They said we could pay with Care Credit online through their website. So we tried. Except we can't because their system doesn't allow processing of old charges. Fine, I've had enough. Take us to collections. That's not going to get you paid and you've already lost us as customers. Good riddance.
