Dr. Justice performed a total hip replacement on me in August 2025. Things went well. He also called me personally when I was having a problem with nausea after being released and this was on Sunday. I had several weeks of therapy with their PT, Ryan Perkins, who was terrific and helped immensely. I am 69 years old, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have NEVER endured the agonizing pain I have suffered in the past two weeks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The last straw was two MRIs within two days, and discovering that the second one was unnecessary because the radiologist at the Westfield location goofed, and there was no tumor on my nerve as they had stated. That led to my treatment being scheduled for next Tuesday, because the doctor doesn't do injections on Mondays. A family member of mine had surgery here after years of pushing it out with numerous non resokution appointments it was a let's poke at your wrist and make you pay a copay and then we're gonna five-and-dime you charge for all kinds of things. We were charged $60 for a $10 cheap brace you can get on Amazon. Random charges continue to come in a year after his surgery for things I don't even remember. We had our outstanding balance down to $50 now randomly when I call it's 175 again orthoindy constantly bills even a year later. I will never ever go to any orthindy ever again read more

While in town visiting our daughter from Florida, my left knee locked in place partially bent on a Saturday afternoon, and I was taken to the hospital. After tests and an MRI, it was determined I had a serious tear in the meniscus and I was released the next day. They suggested I get with a sports orthopedic facility as soon as possible. I did some research and saw OrthoIndy had an urgent care about 20-minutes from where we were staying, so we headed over there Monday morning. When the receptionist saw my leg and the test results, she got with her boss, found out what Doctor was available that day for a consult, and made it happen. While we had to wait for a few hours to see the Surgeon, it was well worth it as I had surgery the next day, and was walking without crutches the evening of my surgery. The team at the Greenwood Clinic as well as the Main Hospital were great! read more

My visit was a total joke. I went to see about a hip replacement, since I'd had bariatric surgery that would allow me to get to a safe BMI for replacement. I was still a couple of months from that point, but wanted to discuss my options to get my ducks in a row. Dr. Kokisek was fixated on the weight issue, which I repeatedly told him was taken care of. I'd lost over 30 pounds and was still losing and wanted to discuss my hip options. He was giving me the names of weight loss doctors, the names of various diet books (going so far as to write them down). When I reiterated that I've got the weight thing under control, he then went on to tell me that everyone he knew who'd had WLS had failed. He then launched into a story about how his dad couldn't quit smoking because "He wanted a quick fix"...(WTH?!) So I left. I went to another facility, had surgery, and have since recovered (zero complications) with my other hip already scheduled. It is unfair to charge people for visits like this. This doctor needs to stick to his specialty, and not areas that he obviously knows nothing about. I left a review elsewhere online and they said to email them about it. I did, but no response after several weeks. I wanted other people to know about this. I wasted time and money to listen to the rantings of an egotistical buffoon. I went to get my thump nail removed for a biopsy. The service was great, nice doctor and everything went great, but I noticed that they were treating me like a heart surgery patient . I had to get undress and put a gown, then went to an operation room. At one point I was thinking that they were confused with the type of surgery I was getting, because I had the same procedure done at another facility to remove a toe nail and it was done in 20 minutes in a small room with clothes on, and none of those fancy procedures. Everything went ok during the procedure, but I was wondering why so much involved for such a simple job. Well, when I received the bill indicating how much they charged to my insurance, I really understood. More than $10,000. I ended up paying almost $400.00 copay. I was treated rudely by Kandace. She kept interrupting and wouldn't allow me to explain my unusual circumstances. She kept interrupting and said, "Do you want to be seen here or not?" Then she laughed at me All I wanted to know was I risking additional and possibly harmful radiation by having X-rays redone only 3 days since having a set done at the ER. Also was curious how I could have the Harrison County ER send them my original X-rays taken three days ago. Again, "Do you want to be seen here?" Geez! She eventually walked away when I told her I didn't want to talk to her anymore. She stood over by the office door and seemed to sarcastically smile/laugh at me. Later I asked for her name (her name tag was turned around). She refused to give me her name, walked away, and never came back. I had to get her name from someone else who didn't seemed at all surprised that Kandace was rude to someone else. Though you may only have a 15-30-minute visit, I have never felt rushed or left without answers. I was referred here to see Dr. Farr. I came with a set of X-rays and had been doing physical rehab since the injury. Dr. Farr did not want to hear anything that was done in the past and never looked at my previous X-rays. He made me get X-rays from "his staff" and then wanted to send me to 3 months of physical therapy 3 times a week with "his therapist." I explained that my insurance wouldn't cover the PT and he didn't want me to see anyone but his therapist. After speaking to two other MD's they both verbalized that Dr Farr was extending the procedure out for financial gain. This is the third injury that I have went to Ortho Indy for and each time have ended up with a different doctor because they force you to use their services, even if they aren't covered by your insurance. read more

Feels like the doctors here are very over booked and have too many patients to offer good care and overall I'm very disappointed in my experience. Back in October of 2020 I was seen for possible knee replacement. I was treated rudely and felt belittled by the doctor I saw. He sent in a PA to give me cortisone shots in each knee. They were the most painful shots I'd ever received and she didn't use any numbing spray. My mom was referred recently and I was skeptical but thought I'd give them another chance. They were very unorganized in scheduling the appointment. Once it was scheduled I received a call wanting to know if my mom had fallen. She put me on hold and when she came back told me that doctor didn't see patients who had fallen! Really! I would think that's a big part of the clientele at an orthopedic office. read more

Took my 7year old son here with a broken arm. Was told he had to have surgery that would cost 30k and would not schedule and appointment for him until I paid 6k out of pocket. When he broke his arm I found out he lost his insurance. They sent him home with one bone broken and another dislocated and prescribed him hydrocodone. I took him to Riley later and they treated his arm without operating and he's happy and healed. The total cost for his treatment through Riley was $3,500. These people are crooks. read more

Was referred here to their walk-in clinic by my family doctor after a weekend of shoulder pain. I hate going to the doctor, but decided it was necessary after I spent a most sleepless night unable to get comfortable enough to fall asleep. The facility is in a sort of odd place, kind of off on its own, but it's very nice, and the clinic entrance was super easy to find, despite the building being massive. It was after hours when we got there, and I expected an experience similar to prompt meds that I have visited... But I was very surprised. Unlike the people who usually staff prompt med, everyone at IndyOrtho was SUPER nice. I also barely had to do any waiting. Check in was easy, and I wasn't even completely done filling out my paperwork when I got called back for X-rays. From there I was taken to an exam room, where I expected that I would do the majority of my waiting, but the doctor came in very quickly. He took a look at my X-rays, did some manual manipulation of the joint, wrote me a prescription, and got me scheduled for a bit of physical therapy. The whole process from walking in the door to walking out took less than an hour. It was pretty great. I can't say my shoulder is magically healed, but glad I was able to have it looked at by someone who specializes in the field. I have a follow up appointment in a month, and hopefully I'm all patched up by then. :) read more

I have been extremely pleased with all aspects of this facility. Dr. Jack Farr is top notch. I have knee issue due to genetics, and he and his staff have done an excellent job. He recommended PT and other alternatives instead of pushing surgery. Kirk (PT) has been so helpful pre and post operatively, and when I have called with a question, I am either linked with someone immediately, or have gotten a call back within 24 hours. The decision for surgery was made after reviewing the thorough information Dr. Farr and Kirk provided. Scheduling the surgery was easy, and I was in touch with them regularly until my surgery date. Surgery day was prompt and exactly as they explained it to me over the phone. They reviewed my post op care with my husband and myself, took time to answer any of our (long list) of questions, and surgery was earlier than scheduled. The anesthesiologist(I wish I could remember his name), was very personable, and I have never had an easier time coming out of anesthesia. I had to stay overnight, and the nursing team was exceptional. The right balance of checking in but allowing you to rest. Aftercare has been exceptional as well. Again, Kirk, Lucie, and Dr. Farr have made this really anxiety-addled person calm and I trust each of them immensely. I have had zero post op issues, and I would trust them to do future care and procedures. Elite professionalism across the board. read more

I had to wait 3 hours not to see the doctor but see his physician assistant, Mike S. He ordered an MRI. I went back for my MRI and was told that my insurance changed it to Pro Scan. A phone call would have been great. I sent my MRI which they received on Saturday the 15th. Couldn't get the PA to call me with the results. Called Wednesday morning and the receptionist gave me the results. Not very professional from the beginning. read more

Dr. Jack Farr and his P. A. Megan Dunning are the absolute best if you have any sort of knee injury. Dr. Farr has done four of my surgeries in the last 2 years and they all have gone extremely well. I drive 3 hours both ways to come to see them and I would highly suggest them to anyone. Every time I come up for a visit, I am always in and out in less than 40 minutes, even when I have to get X-rays. I usually only see Dr. Farr on surgery days, but he is always very kind and reassuring right before you start everything. Megan Dunning is who I see for all my follow-ups and she is wonderful. She explains everything in great detail, she answers all of my questions, and if I'd like to take a picture of an X-ray or something she lets me! The nurses and staff are also great. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I have never had anything less than a great experience each time I come up! read more

Wow the st Francis ortho could not get me in coming from their med check was gonna be a week they were nice enough to refer me over to indy ortho. Got a same day appt they were very nice and understanding. My Dr fallender and Wes who did my cast were awesome. 45 minutes I was there (med check was 3 hours last Saturday ) best hospital expirience ever! My family had been with the Ortho Indy practice for over 30 years, back in the days when they were Orthopedics Indianapolis. We have used almost every specialty offered. I like the fact that they don't try to be an expert on every part of your body, but if you need someone for your neck, you have another who is an expert with the feet. We have visited all of the Indianapolis locations, we go where the doctor is because all of the docs aren't at all of the locations. The docs do not hesitate to refer you to someone else in the practice if they think that is what you need. Having their own hospital and surgery centers has been a wonderful experience for us. read more

The doctor (and staff) were very friendly and made our son feel comfortable--at least as much as they could for an eight year old with a broken arm! Brought my daughter to their urgent care clinic on a Saturday for a knee injury. I called Monday at 0830 to speak with somebody in regards to getting a few simple answers regarding my daughters diagnosis, which I needed for her to play in a soccer match that evening. I had not received a return phone call by 1400, so I called again. They told me, since the PA had not typed her dictation note from Saturday, and she was not in today, that nobody else could answer my simple questions. This was very poor patient care. read more

I was very un-impressed with OrthoIndy South. I saw Dr. McLimore for back pain caused from scoliosis. He barely examined me and glanced at my xrays. I felt like he was dismissing me as though I had a headache. He sent me home with an electronic device. After I got home I had to call them back to see if I wasn't supposed to go to a physical therapist. Oh yes, they forgot to give me that order. He didn't request me to come back for a checkup so it was clear to me he had washed his hands of my silly back pain. On to something more interesting. Then if I wasn't frustrated enough Orthoindy sent me a bill which included among other items $94. for the electrical device. I had already been charged $2000 for the unit. I asked what the $94. was for and I was told because they GAVE IT TO ME TO TAKE HOME. Such a deal. Now I think I should send them a bill for GIVING them my insurance card and filling out a mountain of papers. I've heard tension is good for the back so I'm sure mine will be feeling fine soon. read more

I saw Andy the NP from the urgent care center He was rude and very uncaring. He insinuated that my family doctor did not know what they were talking about as far as my diagnosis. I feel he did not listen well to my concerns or remotely try to sympathize with what I was going through. He had multiple eye rolls when I was trying to explain my health concern. He made me feel as though my feelings and concerns were nothing. He had it set in his mind what my problem was and did not care to answer any concerns I had to help me feel more comfortable with his diagnosis. I left the office knowing I was going to have a bill I wasn't ready for and still be in complete misery and have nothing resolved or working toward a resolve. I gave a star solely because I had to not because it was deserved. I would not want someone else to go there expecting to be cared for and receive a good treatment plan. read more

After reading a review for Dr. Robert Marsh I wanted to share my experience. My husband was in a motorcycle accident last October and Dr. Marsh and his staff did surgery on him and then treated him as he healed. His shoulder is doing very well. Then in November our son was having shoulder pain from a football injury that had never healed properly. Dr. Marsh was able to do surgery on him and he has been able to return to the sport he loves. I fell on the ice in February and fractured my wrist. After setting my arm I was casted for two weeks with a middle of the hand to shoulder cast until the swelling went down and then a shorter cast for the duration. Our daughter saw him for a cist in her wrist, it needed to be injected. My mother saw him for a second opinion with an ankle fracture. We each followed his instructions and have gotten better. If any of us had questions we did not have a problem getting an answer or an appointment if we felt we needed one. I have sent numerous people to him for a variety of injuries, several of them foot an ankle. I have heard nothing but positive feedback. For me be best complement is when they also send their family and friends. I was comfortable with someone who was confident in his abilities. Never did I doubt what he said because he always was able to back it up with information, it was never just his opinion, it was fact based. Sarah, I can recommend and excellent "foot doctor"--Dr. Robert Marsh, Indy Ortho (he's not a foot doctor, he's an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in feet, BTW). He operated on my foot in January--I did not have one minute of pain post-surgery. Like you, I'd never had a cast and wasn't happy about it, but since he IS the doctor, that specializes in this field, unlike you I trusted his judgment and did the cast. When it was removed my skin was just as you described yours--they assured me that was normal and would be fine in a few day's it WAS! Also, the scar down the middle of my big toe can hardly be seen, it looks wonderful. I couldn't be more pleased with the whole process and his expertise and knowledge. He told me when I first saw him exactly what to expect throughout the 12-14 weeks that I would be unable to walk. Everything happened just as he said it would. I guess my question would be are you a doctor or nurse? If not, what would possess you to go in telling a doctor or nurse what to do and what not to do? I have veins that are hard to find and always have problems other places. I commended the nurse in pre-op for getting me on the first stick. It's never happened before. Based on what you've written and the fact that you keep mentioning anxiety it sounds like you wanted meds he was unwilling to prescribe. If you really didn't like him and wanted to walk out I find it hard to believe that you'd stay JUST because your husband took a vacation day. Seriously? Sounds like you're a problem patient, good luck finding a better doctor. Maybe he can also remove your foot from your mouth, before he operates! I see Dr. Marsh next month for my six month follow up and can't wait to show him how great my foot is doing and how fabulous the scar is! I can assure you any reputable doctor would not purposely "botch" your surgery as you so eloquently put it...WOW, talk about needing a reality check! read more

I wanted to see Dr. Gabriel Jackson because he came highly recommended and I was having the WORST pain I have encountered through the years with my spinal stenosis. I had to wait a MONTH for my appointment which might be understandable since he's so popular. By the time I got in to see him I had started to feel somewhat better. They scheduled a MRI for A MONTH LATER! THEN, after the MRI (at which time I was almost pain free) they scheduled my follow up appointment for a MONTH after the MRI. I was feeling fine on my own when I FINALLY got to see him and there was no way to know which point of my spine was causing the intense, long lasting pain. There were several spots that could cause it and I wanted to find and correct the offending spot BUT a month for an appointment followed by another month for the MRI followed up by another month for the follow up appointment. A waste of time and money. NEVER EVER go there. read more
