Today, I came in to purchase a red cab sauv for my friend's birthday. A really nice older lady asked me if I needed any assistance and I explained to her what I was looking for. I know that there are several brands of this, so I assumed someone could point me in the right direction and then I could choose from there. She didn't know, so she asked an older male who appeared to be the manager. He didn't seem to understand her, so he asked me, very rudely, what I was looking for. I replied that it was my friend's birthday and her husband recommended for me to get her a red cab sauv. Disgustingly, he said that they have over 2000 red cabernets and he doesn't understand what I'm looking for. That's when I decided it would be best for me (sadly) to take my business somewhere else. The attitude and tone of voice that I experienced from this male was enough for me to take my business somewhere else. I have had no issues with this business until today and have recommended so many friends, family members, and co-workers to visit this place because they always seem to have what I need. I wish that I could let this blow past me, but for someone to treat me the way that I was treated, especially in front of my child, was enough to push me away. I went to Edgewater Liquors after this incident and the employees there were extremely helpful. They helped me choose a perfect wine for my friend and even wrapped it for free.
