(I have been to other clinics in California as well for comparison; some good some not.) Areas of treatment include: knee/ACL micro tears, shoulder pain/weakness, plantar fasciitis (severe arch pain in the foot), back and neck pain, wrist pain associated with carpel tunnel... there may be a few other things along the road and you can bet I will return there. Debbie McConnell and the other therapist (it has changed over the years for whom I have seen) are always kind and willing to work me in as best they can. Most recently Kate has done dry needling to my upper trap and it has helped my stiff and painful neck. Also, Debbie gently readjusts the rotation along my spine (upper, middle, and lower). Martha and Debbie also have done Astym to my neck, arm, and wrist (not many people are trained to use these tools, but I love how it has helped my carpel tunnel and neck). I am always amazed at how much better I feel when I walk out the door. Also, Debbie is one of the few certified hand therapists in the state. She is also certified in manual lymph drainage. They are a small clinic. It is like Cheers, "where everybody knows your name."

It's a beautiful building just to the east of Lowe's and was easy to find, just behind Mamaveca's. The atmosphere is casual but polished. Everything is clean. Everything. The bathroom was spotless, and the area where you can make coffee/tea and get water was also spotless. (No water stains!) Tip: Wear exercise clothes! I have Cate as my physical therapist. She is magical. My particular injuries are very difficult and flare up randomly--sometimes in the middle of her treating me. She is a lot more patient than I am! Every time I come in there's usually something different one of the three injuries I have is doing--and every time she customizes my PT to accommodate for that day's ailment. The tech's who stay with you while you complete your stretches etc. are really, really nice. They always are funny and make the best conversations. (Especially if you love sports.) I've been going to PTC for over 3 months now. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They've helped me heal much faster than I ever thought possible. I'd highly recommend them.

I came to Valir after having hip surgery. I have the unfortunate luck of being allergic to most…read moremedications and as such, I experienced set backs in my healing period. I had made great progress in Physical Therapy until I hit these setbacks and travelled alllll the way back to square one. I was certain I would be out of luck, unable to continue with PT, and that I would just have to deal with it, but Sean's exceptional knowledge and knack for truly caring about his patients led me to fully healing despite the setbacks! He takes great pride in fully understanding where the patient is at in their capabilities, he pushes you just enough, but never too much, and he is extremely patient and understanding of literally everything. I truly thought I'd be in pain forever, but Sean dialed it back and worked with me from Square one all over again, never making me feel like a burden or like it was my fault that my injury had had pulled me all the way back to the beginning. His focus is helping his patients thrive. Though I have had to have Physical Therapy for longer than I anticipated, it is solely because of Valir that I am able to move around without pain and regain the active lifestyle I had prior to surgery. The clinic is and has been taking numerous COVID-19 precautions such as taking your temperature when you walk in, wearing masks themselves and requiring masks for patients, limiting the amount of patients in the clinic at any given time, and sanitizing before and after every patient, including equipment used, and changing pillow cases, etc. The clinic is never hard to reach nor difficult to work with. They truly want to help you feel better! Sean also keeps an upbeat, light-hearted atmosphere with the Weekly Riddle and joke posted on a whiteboard for patients to see while in their sessions. My partner/boyfriend had been to ignite before the hospital recommended him to go to a rehab…read morefacility to complete his I.V. antibiotics for a month. he really,really liked his stay there he said he'd recommend it to anyone. Recently he was hospitalized again with what we thought was cellulitis. So once again he was sent to Ignite to complete his I.V. antibiotics for 6 weeks. When they transported h8m from the hospital I arrived before he did seen they put him in a semi private room. Immediately I was also aware of his neighbor right next door hollering and moaning very loudly. I told the nurse at the desk that he was not going to be happy about a roommate and did he not know they considered him infectious (my boyfriend) the nurse responded well thats where they put him. But the next day I guess someone caught on that hevwas infectious moved his roommate out to a private room. Thebroommate was none to happy about them exposing him to an infectious person. So then they quarantined my boyfriend about a day late from exposing the whole place. He's in here trying to rest and heal still listening to the neighbor yelling and moaning. Supper is supposed to be served at 4:30 he received it at 7:00 last night only after calling the nurse to see where his supper was. He said he would not recommend Ignite again and wouldn't ever come back.

I would not even give this place a one star it is exactly what people says it is horrible…read moredefinetely not skilled nurses my husband was in this place for a little over 3 weeks and every single day was a nightmare his care was completely neglected not once but 2 times he was sent out of this facility to the hospital they had no one who was skilled with trachs and they accepted my husband anyway knowing that nobody there was able to care for a trach this last time he was sent out was the very last straw for me he ended being hospitilized in ICU with a severe infection thanks to this place yes nice on the outside but not good care on the inside that day he had to be transported out which was last Wednesday could have been the end of him Had I not went to check on him and they still did not want to send him out until respitory advised it Please if you love your love ones do not send them here My husband will never ever go back there and I will be filing a complaint against them if your loved is not able to do things on there own the care will be neglected they take forever to come in rooms even when you call for help.from experience not a good place for your loved one at all.

I had been given numerous recommendations for physical therapy, but after choosing OSSPT and seeing the team in action there was no doubt I was in good hands! I had undergone major surgeries to rebuild both legs (including total knee replacement). Dr. Kaytlyn Hansmeyer absolutely performed magic in skillfully restoring both of my legs to full mobility (walking 5+ miles, climbing 20+ flights of stairs, biking, swimming and more...)! Her professionalism and care were most excellent and much appreciated! Each leg had serious issues following surgery. Kaytlyn patiently listened to my complaints and demonstrated a high degree of expertise as she addressed and resolved each issue. My major near-term goal was to be physically fit to serve as Sports Director at a youth camp in Hawaii next month (June).
