Seeing this place while walking my dog, one morning and decided to give them a try since the other place that I usually go to is a little far away from Home so I called for last minute appointment and Gabe was able to take me in. Quality of haircut is very clean as seen in pictures. He really took his time which I appreciate. the vibes here feels like a classic barbershop. I recommend to anybody that's in the area give them a try you ain't gonna be disappointed. read more

went into bc I was at the casino. That Cuban barber at the first chair was awful. I said I wanted a low skin fade but he left the back all patchy. I asked him if he could clean up the back and he got offended and said "OH YOU WANTED A MEDIUM" no guy. I want a low fade. I said "it's fine." I'll just go. He got even more mad. He's like "I was gonna go have lunch with my girl. BUT ILL FIX IT FOR YOU" Bro I did not need to know any of that. Now he's pushing me into the chair, not letting me leave. I keep saying I'm good but he won't let go. Whatever. Let's let this mad mf fix it up Well. He turned my low fade into a medium. And now the sides are patchy too. I said "wow. It looks great." I don't want this guy to lose his shit and cut more hair off. Very unprofessional. Needs his clippers taken away FOR LIFE read more

Last month had my 2nd visit to Oscar's. I needed a hot shave & haircut quickly before my customer arrived to buy a gun safe. I called - Gabriel told me to come over & he would get me in his chair. I had the best hot shave in years. Gabe was great and very skillful. I even was seated next to one of my customers once he found out I was the owner of Nevada Safes. The barber shop is less that a mile from my safe store. This is where I will be going for all my grooming needs in the future. Set an appt for 2pm to get my hair cut on my lunch hour. Get there 15 min prior, and see there is a sign that says cash only. So I then track down an ATM in the shopping center. Get back to the shop at 1:50 as the barber I'm scheduled with finishes a haircut, then takes someone else in the chair and says "I got you next." I'm thinking ok, he is going to cut this guys hair in 10 minutes so that he can keep the appointment with me. Wrong! Lol 2:20 I'm still sitting in the chair while everyone else in the whole shop is getting their hair cut before me. The guy with the appointment. Had to leave to get back to work without a haircut. Thanks for wasting my time. Additionally, Barbers dropping the F bomb loud and consistently the whole time I was there. With kids in the room. Just in case you were thinking of taking your kids. read more

I have been coming here for over 10 years. I have seen the shop grow in many ways. They have cut my family's hair, my best friends, and even discovered some co-workers also been coming here. Priscilla has been my go to barber and always takes care of me even when I have no idea what to do with my head. They are definitely like an extended family! It was my first time here and it's amazing how busy this place gets. It's recommended that you book an appointment. All the barbers are pretty well-trained and versed with different types of cuts and shaving. My son had to wait for 2 hrs because it was a Saturday, and there was a line ahead of us. The place is pretty chill, and everyone is friendly. I appreciate the traditional classic feel of the shop. The cut was worth the wait. Til next time! read more

Holy crap!!! Do not come here if you don't have an appointment. I'm from outta town. I looked up a barbershop on yelp, this place had good reviews so I figured I'd give it a try. I was not aware that they had an appointment system. There were four barbers when I got here the place was packed and all but one barber dipped out to got to lunch at around the same time. I get they need to take lunch, but all at once?? I waited 2 hours because all the barbers have appointments. From watching them cut hair for 2 hours they are all very good. But damn at least have one barber that does walk ins. That's my only complaint. All the barbers are nice and are good. But call and set up an appointment so you're not here for two hours also. read more

I live across town in the Anthem / Seven hills area and I continue to come back to Oscars barbershop. I've tried about every barbershop in Vegas, and rather they do a terrible job or they are so arrogant and egotistic that I dread going in. Oscars is welcoming, the staff is attentive and they take their time perfecting the haircuts. It's not just a great haircut it's a good vibe. They accept appointments and walk ins but the shop gets busy so I recommend you make an appointment. I get my hair cut by Oscar and my younger brother goes to Sergio but the other barbers all do great jobs. read more

Made an appointment with Priscilla for my 1-year-old son's second haircut. He had his first somewhere else and it wasn't so hot. He did awesome and looks amazing...his first big boy haircut. Priscilla did a fantastic job!! We will be going back for sure. I highly recommend an appointment...they are very busy. If you do a walk-in you could be waiting a long while. read more

Heed the warnings if you don't have an appointment. I liked the feel of the shop, and the guy (who isn't a normal barber there) seemed to be good. Unfortunately, the shower and hair growth since then has shown the haircut was very uneven. I was visiting from Hawaii, and I really liked the shop. We don't have too many like that back here in Hawaii. read more

My friend recommended me here about 6 months ago and all I can say is wow. I've lived in Vegas for 2 1/2 years and its the only place I can get the cut I want. What can I say about this shop that hasn't been said from countless reviews, simply amazing. Every barber in the shop knows exactly what they are doing from the owner Oscar who really cares about his guests and is simply an artist with the hair, to Sergio who is a chill, relaxed dude who cuts hair extremely well! To Rosy who is a quiet very beautiful older woman is loves to cut hair and is amazing at it as well, along with Priscilla who is a young woman who is like the woman version of Sweeney Todd just spectacular with clippers. Last but not least Josh, a very very cool dude who is basically Edward Scissor hands with the clippers just fantastic. Thanks again to Oscar and everyone in the shop for the great customer service and with every spectacular hair cut that walks out the door! Oscar was great! He was able to book an appointment for me through his mobile booking service, which was very convenient. The day I showed up he was running a few minutes behind, but I wasn't in a rush so I wasn't upset. The other guys working in the barbershop seemed friendly and we had a great conversation. The haircut I received from Oscar was also very good, as I had several comments with positive feedback from friends and family. The shop was established in 1964. We are proud to say that we have been servicing the Las Vegas community for over 50 years! We specialize in all types of haircuts from the modern to the classic. Please feel free to walk in or make an appointment. Our haircuts start at 25$ for seniors and kids under 12 yrs old. 35$ for regular haircuts. Appointments take priority but feel free to walk-in!

It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.

I was definitely testing fate, as I was in town to officiate a wedding and couldn't make it to see my regular barber due to other obligations. After a quick search on Yelp, I stumbled upon the Garrison, read all the reviews, and gave them a call to see if they could squeeze me in next day on a holiday weekend in Vegas. Yup, testing fate for sure! From start to finish, Elliot took real care of me. He was thorough about what I was looking for, put me immediately at ease, and we had a nice chat about our lives and experiences. For such a busy city where things are moving so quickly in Sin City, he had a real gift of slowing time (in a cheesy, but good way). As for the haircut itself, 10/10, would go back again if I was ever in town and in need of a cut. I got a ton of compliments at the wedding!

It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.

I came to this barbershop for the third time i believe i was in town from California visiting some family and my very first time the barbers were very Nice and friendly the barber who actually cutt my hair was a young lady i believe her name was pricilla. Well she done a very good job with my hair cutt. The second it was a man named oscar and he was Very good as well. As far as the third visit i did notice some new barber's. There was one young lady that actually came off really rude to me not only did she not do a good job on my hair she seemed as if she just hated her life , Hated her job and just didnt wanna be there. Her name was Alena. Next time i'am in town i will definitly be coming back but i wont allow alena to cutt my hair again. Definitly making an appointment with oscar or pricilla. I Only came here once and my overall experiece was OK. The girl who cutt my hair had a really bad attitude, All the other barber's were booked up with appointments and this chick was the only one available to cutt my hair if i would of known she was gonna have an attitude and be a B&^$&* and F@#* up my hair cutt i would of booked an appointment with another barber. One of my homies actually go there and gets a haircutt he told me to ask for Oscar,John or priscilla. Neither one was available to cutt my hair but next time i will not be sitting in her chair. I seen a review below me and Im more then sure the girls name was ALENA. I've been going here for over 10 years now. I have tried other barber shops prior to finding Oscar's. This shop has the classic neighborhood barber shop feel and everyone is so nice. There is always a good game it movie playing while you wait and plenty of banter going on about anything and everything. I have been getting my hair cut by Pricilla for a while but everyone is a class A barber. If you go on the weekends I would recommend making an appointment as it can get quite busy. Long story short if you are looking for a classic barber shop with good atmosphere and more than capable barbers then Oscar's is the place for you. Stop in and see for yourself. On a side note they sell Layrite pomade so you can get your hair cut and grab a can of pomade as well. This is an A+ shop. read more

Loved the shop! It was nice and clean. The barbers were very nice and friendly i took my son last weekend to get a cutt. I was staying over at the Arizona Charlie's Hotel, So it was nearby and well worth it. I will be coming back again in August will be visitng again. Not only for a cutt for my son hoping i can get a trim for myself as well. A Young lady that works there said she cutt's womens hair as well. So if your in town looking for a good barbershop come to Oscar's Classic babershop its near the Arizona charlie's Hotel and Casino. read more
