The place (where the duplexes are) are so well-maintained and really the area is so beautiful and much more impressive than I expected TBH! When I told people in the area why I was in IL and where my MIL and FIL moved- everyone said that Eden Village is great, they take really good care of their residents, and the transition to more assisted living is seamless! I feel safe and comfortable having my MIL and FIL living here now!

This man Dr Thayer and Bill both know acupuncture like the back of their hands, and do an amazing job with it!!! He has worked almost all of my family and some friends. Call backs are either non-existent or you have to call yourself only to deal with an annoyed nurse on the other end. I called for cholesterol results nearly 2 weeks after my blood work was done. A simple test that should be back at the doctors office at most within a couple days. When I called, the girl immediately told me the results weren't back yet. She didn't even check and I'm not even sure she got my name. I insisted she check and sure enough, the results were there. Then she didn't want to give me the numbers.....it was like pulling teeth and she even gave me a heavy sigh when I wanted more than just the total cholesterol number. I'm annoyed that I should have to fight to get simple answers. I asked for a call back to see if I should stay on the same dosage of cholesterol medicine, but never heard anything back. This scenario has happened more than several times over the past few years and I don't recommend anyone settle for having to fight for their own information. Schueler and Kelly do seem to care, but if their office staff doesn't......then it's a problem for me.

This urgent care is woefully understaffed. There was only one person working the entire time I was…read morethere. She tried mightily to handle customer service, testing, sanitation, coordination with off-site staff, and more--and I do commend her for her efforts. But this is no way to run a health clinic. I was really taken aback by the fact that, once I accepted a telehealth appointment with a nurse practitioner, I was expected to discuss all of my symptoms and treatment options using the receptionist's phone--in full earshot of everyone in the waiting room (though there were only a couple people; one was a minor). I question the legality of practicing medicine in this manner, ie, who is supervising the clinic if no doctors are on site? Are nurse practitioners in Illinois licensed to provide care and prescribe without direct supervision? Furthermore, while the nurse practitioner I spoke with was as kind as can be, their medical advice wasn't helpful. For an unknown respiratory issue I described, they prescribed over-the-counter meds including a sleep aid (although they knew I already had an Rx sleep aid from my own doctor), and a common motion sickness remedy (although they knew I already had an Rx anti-nausea med from my own doctor). They also prescribed a cough suppressant that was just plain ineffective. I don't doubt their intentions, but when I was able to see my own doctor days later, he was frustrated that they didn't prescribe any antibiotics (not knowing whether my infection was viral or bacterial), and at the OTC choices I was given. Moreover, he immediately ordered a chest x-ray, which found that I had already progressed to acute pneumonia. I would return to this urgent care only if--like the day I went there--I had no other choice. And that would be silly, considering there's a reputable hospital right across the street.

A friend of mine was admitted to Anderson via ER due an apparent TSI. ER Dr. was thorough and…read moreexplained what had occurred and procedures going forth at Anderson. An MRI and visit w/neurologist to happen following mourning. That never happened, two days later my friend 'self checked out' from Anderson. The extent of any medical care came from nurse technicians..no MRI and no neurological exam. Seems like Anderson wanted his health care INS money...period. Bad hospital!
