I could not last all weekend without something to cover me up. I did not want to purchase a sweater when I have a million at home. I knew that if I found a Goodwill, I would find something. When we were parked at other campsites, we drove the truck to nearby locations, but no luck. This time we were pulling the camper and I saw the beautiful sign. GOODWILL I made my husband pull in thinking that I would have to jump out while he turned the camper around, quickly go in the store, then leave since we would not be able to park. Instead, look what I found! RV PARKING! Thank you, Goodwill! Wow! That was awesome. So, maybe all the stars just for that? Okay, not really, we went inside and they had all sorts of fun items and there it was, hanging on the rack...a thick, CUTE, sweater and it was actually a size above mine, but I did not care! I threw it on and it was so cozy and warm. I was in heaven! The sweater now lives in my travel trailer and only comes in the house when it needs to be washed. ........ .. ..... .. ..

We were greeted by being yelled at for an adult having a drink in their hand, Instead of letting us kindly know they'd not like food and drink inside. Since the drink was practically empty they finished and respectfully asked for a garbage but were met with attitude. As the adult re-joined our family shopping they were then followed non discreetly by the same person who yelled at them everywhere we went but not once offered any help to find anything etc just being watched. There was only reprieve when another family came in asking specifically for shoes. Instead of buying the next season of clothes for our family where we weren't welcome we left and were glared at the entire time. The store was kept clean, but there were no other customers in the store beside the one other family. It's a busy weekend at the beach with events and high heat in the valley but with unwelcoming employees I'm not surprised. Familiar to the manager issue listed prior, it's was highly unprofessional and crosses the line. Definitely won't be back, would rather go to Oshkosh same parent company but more kindness.

Waterproof shoes. The very next day I walked 9 holes of a long golf course in those shoes wondering if they would need breaking in. They were perfect! The traction on the hills was very helpful and I asked myself "what shoes? Didn't even feel like I had shoes on at all! My husband booked fat tire bikes for us to ride for the day. For some reason he thought they were…read moree-bikes, which was slightly funny at the time. They clearly expected us to last maybe 2 hours tops. They gave us good direction as far as where to ride and where on the sand to stay. They gave us one bike with an adjustable seat, and one that was not adjustable. They adjusted it to fit my son, but didn't tighten it enough to keep it in place. By the time we got to the beach it was all the way down with no way to fix it. It was a very windy day, which is part of the beach experience, but it was much harder given that we are tall and the bike was too small. I felt like we were not given all the information we needed. I would not rent the bikes again.
