You take your new found love of Chenin Blancs to Pentiction & Wine Country Visitor Centre (aka the VQA) where you can purchase a multitude of local (and chilled where warranted) wines at reasonable prices all in one well organized and air-conditioned space. I was on a mission, but I did notice another room full of educational looking exhibits out of the corner of my eye.

This is a great little visitor center to stop at right off of the main highway. There is plenty of…read moreparking and a small park right next to the parking lot with monuments to look at and grass to let your dog out on and little paths to walk if you need to stretch your legs. The visitor center offers restrooms and a cute little photo op with props that matches the Western theme of the town. I was able to find a free concert theme put on tomorrow in the area that I will be in on their bulletin board. The woman who works inside was very kind and helpful and even offered directions. She also said it was fine if I brought my small dog inside, which was very nice of her. I stopped in this morning and it had everything I needed. This is definitely worth a stop if you're in the area!
