However, I usually only have a day or 2 notice or sometimes require a walk-in, but Crystal is a great men's stylist in high demand. I was relieved when I called Tuesday afternoon because I was able to make an appointment for Thursday with Raena, a new stylist under Crystal's wing. She did a fantastic job! At the end, Crystal made sure to come check her work and share her tips of the trade so Raena was able to bring it to perfection with a few more snips. She's a talented stylist and fast learner who I recommend! Details: After 40 minutes I was just as satisfied with my fade cut and beard trim as ever and the $15.00 price can't be beat so I tipped $20 cash on top! FYI cost of quality comparison: In Denver: I pay $35 haircut + $25 for straight razor shave plus tip for 60-90 minute appointment. I asked if they did not push back and trim the cuticles to which she replied "$5 more. " I didn't want to cause a scene in front of customers. Went back first thing this morning and asked to speak to manager in private. The lady working was rude and wanted to know what I wanted. There was only one other customer, so i told her," I want a refund, my nails are thick, fat not shaped well and my nails hurt. They do not look nice at all and several friends said they looked bad also". She said they will soak them off and give me a refund. Her husband started removing my nails while she worked on the other customer. She continued to argue with me, even after saying they would removed them and refund my money. The lady she was servicing finally told her, " you are not conducting good business, you are arguing with your customer, all she wants is a refund because of the way her nails look." She then began chattering to her husband in their language. I was becoming extremely unhappy and said "that is very rude, if you have something say about me, please say it to my face, I did not go behind your back and tell about the service I got, and expect the same respect if you have something to say." The other customer agreed with my statement. Only after dealing with her this morning did I decide to learn a negative review on social media. I prefer addressing problems in person. We got in almost immediately so that was nice. But only one lady did all 3 of our manicures so it took forever. She was not kind or nice. She pushed gel manicure the entire time although we made it clear that's not what we wanted. She was very rough; one of my daughters and we're bleeding where she trimmed around our nails. The place was ugly and appeared dirty. I'll never go back and will tell anyone who asks not to go there.
