Pretty restaurant
Lisa B.

The food here was delicious. The fettuccine with mushrooms was honestly one of the finest pasta dishes I have ever had. The mushrooms had bite to them. The brown butter sage cream sauce had the most divine blend of herby sage and sherry wine. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it. The gnocchi was tender but had the right bite and the sauce was fresh and delicious. We didn't get appetizers - although when I saw the fried calamari and clams in a garlic sauce come to the table next to me I was very jealous and sad we didn't get one. Oddly, the bread is meh. It was little disappointing such a remarkable restaurant has such bad bread. But than needing to up their bread game, it's a winner. I mighta given it 5 stars if the bread were not deli store hero quality.

Chilean Sea Bass (special )

I've come here a few times times before I just always thought it was average but a family member likes it so we went there for a celebration. The place was really busy. They have a small parking lot in the back, but we opted to park across the street and ShopRite and then walk across. The restaurant was really busy and all tables were full and it was kind of tight. We did have a nice round table for 7 people that we all could talk together. They did not rush us and waitress was pretty attentive. Bread that was complementary was just okay, not warm no olive oil on the table. For appetizer we had scallops wrapped in bacon which I think was the best thing that we ate the whole time. One person in our party had the chicken and she said it was really good. That's her favorite, I had the Chilean Seabass special and it was one of the worst pieces of fishes I've ever had. It was very fishy. This is one of my favorite types of fish so I was very disappointed. My husband had the fettuccine with wild mushrooms. It looked really good, but flavor was not there and it was very very bland. For dessert we had chocolate lava cake, and I didn't get any lava. It was just chocolate cake. They have a bar there however they don't give you any list of suggested cocktails which I thought was strange. Our table ordered glass of wine and a mixed drink and it took 20 minutes to receive it. There are other Italian restaurants in the area that would go to this in the future over here.

Standard run of the mill Italian. Bottled salad dressing, Jarred minced garlic. Not terrible. Portions are large. Salad comes with entree.

5+ Stars; My favorite restaurant in the realm of Chef Robbie Felice…read more Outstanding! Excellent service; Very cool urban ( Brooklyn-like) vibe & atmosphere. Kitchen view; Nice sized bar with all the good stuff; Excellent food and drinks! Big public parking lot next door. But keep in mind it doesn't come cheap. What looks (and is) very casual is still in Westwood ( an always evolving Foodie town). A true artisanal menu. I suggest you look at the menu and Google some terms because you're going to see some ingredients & foods that are not common place. Multiple types of Mozzarella ( and other cheeses) Home made pastas that you don't always see anywhere (no penne or spaghetti here!) Our group of four is infamous for ordering A LOT off the menu and sharing; No two like items here. Apps Choose a basket of one of the bread choices; Make sure you try some cheeses ( REAL Italian burrata and REAL Italian buffalo mozzarella from Italy here!) A MUST--Italian Stracciatella ( stringy & soft cheese like Mozzarella with house made Hummus in a Roasted Garlic Pinsa Romana that came with pita. Even the hot honey mozzarella sticks made a common item great. Entrees ( all good sized servings) and after all the yummy cheeses & Apps you can expect to have a take-home container. --I loved the Chicken & Sausage Cutlet Milanese Scarpariello with Rosemary; topped with cooked onions & peppers (not a old salad as one would expect with a Milanese. However they did have the traditional chicken Milanese topped with a Cesar salad that looked awesome. --the Trottole (pasta) with Short Rib Ragu | Mozzarella Whey | Belper Knolle ( a shaved, seasoned cheese) was like nothing Ive ever had and everyone loved it. --the Fussilli pasta with Basil Pesto | Whipped Ricotta | Pine Nut was also fantastic! --Spicy Rig(atoni pasta) with Stracciatella (cheese) | Sicilian Oregano | Basil; another somewhat common dish but here stands out among some of the best. Desserts-- Although the Samoa Cookie (like in those great girl Scout cookies) Cheesecake sounded amazing but the 4 of us split 2 orders of the --Butter Cake with Vanilla Gelato | Berries | Zabaglione sauce; and it was perfection. Light as a feather buttery yellow cake with all of that was the prefect way to end this meal. A true MUST if you like great food and like to try different versions of things. I cannot wait to go back. His best place yet

Vibes? Good. Drinks? Ok…read more Food? I mean...I guess? It's different which IS great. Everything is expensive so I get it but it just didn't blow my bra onto the bathroom ceiling. 260 a couple and one wasn't drinking is reasonable If anything was wow...the best bite of the night was the 10.00 fresh table side bite of mozzarella...it's the one thing we've circled back to talking about over the evening. 26 of those bites would have been way cooler and delicious...which is a good idea for next time. Clams, tasty breadcrumbs. Couldn't find a clam...with both hands, it tasted good if not a little dry just didn't really get "clam" Mozzarella sticks....tasty breadcrumbs and hot honey. But no pull. Focaccia? Over well?? Dark on All sides and only ordered bc our entree was "saucy"...plot twist...it was not. Inventive with the sausage chicken cutlet but scarpiello is supposed to be spicy, sharp...this was roasted peppers on a sausage chicken cutlet with not a drop of sauce. (We shared this, decent serving but for the price you couldn't even garnish the plate?) Chicken scarpimellow maybe ? Cocktails? Tiny and just ok, nothing to write home about and a lot of "just bc you can doesn't mean you should" I want a cocktail with alcohol not molecular gastronomy in a shot glass. The espresso martini was very good, I will give them a 9 on that. The staff was the star, friendly attentive but I can't say knowledgeable because the focaccias sole purpose was for sauce that didn't exist and she didn't come back to ask so here we are with focaccia that came out before apps for an entree that didn't need it. The worst element was that at various points the restaurant was filled with an acrid smell of burning plastic or food or something and it was very off putting but it wasn't a delicious scent. Also, for the vibes and the cost the influencer in gym shorts really throws that whole mood yes society is more casual now but gym shorts aren't really appropriate at any restaurant with the same price point. I'd give it another shot in the future maybe just for cocktails and hand fed cheese.

I also liked the pizza, I think it was called the Bee Sting? Nice flavor, would eat that again. Otherwise we did not enjoy our experience. We were seated underneath a vent that continuously sprayed water, at one point right into my food. No thanks. I ended up sampling the kids' macaroni and cheese, which was utterly bland. The salad portion was skimpy to boot. On the whole, we felt no need to return. Maybe you will have (or have already had) a better experience. But with so many options out there we will look elsewhere.

Plus the service was on point with friendly staff members. The chicken buffalo dip was tasty as heck. It wasn't oily like many dips and it just felt refreshing? If I can even use that term while eating a dip lol had the roast beef and it was delicious. The meat was tender in this gravy like sauce, the grilled veggies went well together. The turkey burger? Sorry but was pretty dried. Either they over cooked or added too much breadcrumbs? It wasn't very good but doable. I would def go back and check out other dishes or head to the opposite side for the bar. Fun, cozy, romantic scene happening here. Not bad at all!

We were greeted right away by the one employee on staff, who was very attentive and pleasant. He was both the waiter and bartender. We ordered the smash burger as an appetizer since it's something I've never seen on a menu as an appetizer before. The smash burger itself was basically a standard double cheeseburger. The patties had a strange texture and didn't have much of a crust. There were also no pickles or house sauce, as the description said there would be. That being said the hand-cut fries that came with it were freshly fried and delicious. For dinner we got the gnocchi in spicy ragu and the pork chop Milanese. The gnocchi was delicious with the sauce but could have been hotter it unfortunately came out lukewarm. The pork chop Milanese was presented beautifully and had good flavor, but it felt like it was missing something (maybe a little more spice or citrus to complement the Asian slaw on top). Overall the service was great, but food was only good and extremly pricey for the portion sizes. I'm hoping the restaurant succeeds, and I'd like to go back and try some different dishes.

There were some people sitting outside for dinner and maybe three other tables inside full so it was not busy if you wanted to walk in for dinner it is possible but we had reservations. The decor aims for high end dining, they have an elegant bar area with some tables if you prefer to eat on that side. The hostess and servers were very attentive. The menu is very limited. They have a bunch of different special martini drinks, and plenty of wine selections, but the food menu is very limited. They have dinner specials to offer. My husband went with the burger, which was a very thick patty served with a brioche bun, cooked perfectly. The fries were just OK. They looked as if they were frozen fries just put in the oven. I went with the cod special over Seasonal corn. The corn was tasteless. The cod was cooked perfectly although it did lack a little bit of flavor and we shared the iceberg salad for an appetizer, which was good, but nothing special. The prices were reasonable we decided to pass up on the dessert and take a walk down the main Avenue in Westwood and find some ice cream . I believe it was the male owner that did stop by after we finish dinner to check on us. He was very pleasant.
