My dad recently passed away, and we were relocating our mother to assisted living. My brother took…read morethe lead in purchasing a full-size mattress and was told delivery would take 7 days. It took 9. When it arrived, it had a hole in the back. Because the size did not work and the product was damaged, we asked for a refund. We were told no refunds on mattresses, only store credit, even though it had not been used and arrived in that condition. At that point, we were already about $800 in, so we moved forward with a twin XL, plus a frame and what we understood to include a box spring. Again, quoted 7 days. We had to call on day 9 to remind them to deliver it. The second delivery showed up without a box spring, and the "frame" was a cheap, lightweight metal setup that did not match the price point. The replacement mattress also was visibly soiled. At this point, this is no longer a one-off issue. It is a pattern of delays, product condition concerns, over priced and unclear order details. On April 3, 2026, around 9 a.m., I returned to the store to clarify why the box spring was missing. The employee at the front was professional and trying to help. Then Michael came out, and the situation escalated immediately. He stated the original mattress was "in the dumpster" (after we were told they couldn't take it back and we could keep it if we wanted it) and said we never ordered a box spring. When I asked to confirm what we paid for, he became verbally aggressive, told me to "get out of my store," and escalated to "I'll kick your ass," "I'll throw you out of my f'ing store," and said he would call the "f'ing police" to have me trespassed. This was said in front of the other employee and two young boys that were there. I said "really nice language to use in front of children and towards a customer'" Police were called. I spoke with the officer, was issued a trespass notice, and left. Michael said as the police arrived "I sell them furniture, this isn't going to go well for you" (or words to that effect.) Bottom line: repeated delivery delays, damaged or questionable product condition, overpriced missing items, and an interaction that escalated to threats over a basic order clarification. That is not a one-time mistake. That is how this situation was handled from start to finish. Make your own decision, but I would strongly recommend avoiding this place but if you go, verify exactly what you are paying for, confirming delivery expectations in writing, and understanding their policies before doing business here

Wabash…read morePortable Equipment is close by and they've been a great source for my 2 stroke oil and my bar oil. They've also been awesome at keeping my chains sharp, so they got my business for my leaf blower. I chose the BG86. The sale was quick and pleasant. Got her home, fueled her up. Fired up after the 4th pull and runs great. It's fun blasting the leaves away from the gravel. Gotta be careful though the gravel wants to fly a little bit too. And the kids love getting buried in the leaf piles. I recommend Wabash Portable Equipment for any of your outdoor power needs. They even have some cool dirt bikes for sale. Check em out. And if your chain saw chains are dull, take em in to get sharpened! It's very affordable and they do an amazing job!

Today they broke the bolts in the spindle housing and had to order a new one. Prolly gonna be 2 more weeks before I get it back. When I originally called, they acted like it was gonna be a day or two. Day three I called to check on it and they said 2 weeks. As previously stated, tomorrow makes 3 weeks. Had I known, i would have went else where. Its costing me money to rent other equipment to do the work I need to do. Just save yourself the time, effort, and hassle and go elsewhere.
