Plus the golf cart was just fun whipping down random cobblestone streets and through crowds of people. It was a really special experience for us, and our tour guide was superb; very jocular and down to earth. As part of the tour our guide also got us into the pantheon for free and showed us around one of the local churches which had unique graphic illusions (as well as some creepy skulls/skeletons incorporated into the religious artwork). One of my favorite parts of the tour was stopping to check out Giardino degli Aranci (orange grove public square overlooking the city at night). Highly recommended.

She warned us about possible last-minute changes when booking tours through some third-party platforms and recommended a reliable ticket broker for our Vatican Museums and Colosseum tickets in case we were unable to get the tickets ourselves. That advice was extremely helpful. Another huge advantage was that Rome In Limo is licensed to enter the tender area at the Port of Civitavecchia. Our driver, Alberto, was waiting with a sign with my name literally about 50 feet from the ship! With some other companies, you may have to make your way outside the port to meet your driver, which can be a hassle. Alberto was prompt, super friendly, and went above and beyond for us. We were having trouble communicating with the operator of a buggy tour we wanted to arrange at our next stop in Ajaccio, Corsica. Alberto stepped in, spoke with the operator in Italian, and helped us get everything sorted out. We really appreciated him doing that for us! Our guides for the Roman Forum/Colosseum and the Vatican Museums were both excellent. Our Colosseum guide took us through a less-crowded entrance where there was literally no one in front of us. Alberto also handled all of our drop-offs and pickups perfectly. At the Vatican, having a guide allowed us to use the direct passage from the Vatican Museums to St. Peter's Basilica, avoiding another long line outside. It was a long and very hot day, but everything went incredibly smoothly and efficiently. There was even a road closure due to a fire on our way back to the ship, but Alberto was communicating with his network to find the best detour and still got us back to the port with plenty of time to spare. We were able to see and experience so much of Rome in the limited time we had in port. Great planning, excellent guides, and outstanding service from Alberto. We couldn't have asked for a better family experience in Rome!

We used this service for the transfer to and from the airport as well as short hops to the train station, the Vatican, and the catacombs. They are punctual and communicate about your upcoming rides so you don't have to wonder if they are going to remember to pick you up. Drivers are friendly and helpful. Where do I begin with this tour? We were picked up at our hotel and we drove about an hour or so, to get some coffee and a small on the go breakfast. Then we headed for Pompeii. We had a private 2hr guided tour. I've noticed that every tour guide (and I booked many tours so I can confirm) are like an encyclopedia and full of knowledgeable. Our guide walked us through the most beautiful parts and taught us so much. Everything from their plumbing system, the trade center, mosaic floors and walls, frescos, "fast food" concepts, the baths/spas, Mt. Vesuvius, the plaster bodies and so on, we got to experience and see how people lived. Honestly, it's not much different than today, as the basic principles and concept remains the same. After being absolutely blown away by Pompeii, we took a nice drive down to the Amalfi Coast's little town of Positano. Our guide, Giuseppe, made reservations for us in advance at Ristorante Buca Di Bacco Positanom which sits right on the water. Not only were the views magnificent but I've never had a more delicious lobster in my life. It was soft, flavorful and a little on the sweet side. It is worth flying back to Italy to eat it again, no joke! After lunch, my husband dipped his feet in the water and got to soak in the beauty of Positano. Next, we went to Limoncello tasting. I know this is native to this region and all but honestly, limoncello needs to be in a mixed drink. Its rough as a shot. After this, we had the option to go to Amalfi but we decided to head back to Rome, as it is all similar and didn't want to get back past 10pm. Also, one more thing to mention. Our driver was Roberto. This man was the most amazing driver. He drove so professionally and smoothly, where we didn't even feel a thing on those long drives, twists and turns. If you can fall asleep on that cliffside, you know you are in good hands with Roberto!

It was so much fun getting to ride through Rome on vespa's. While on the ride they pointed out all of the cool monuments and places to see with intermittent breaks to get into more detail about the Colloseo and the Via Appia as well as other cool places. We even had a short break to eat at one of their favorite gelato places, which by the way was awesome. I know this because my friends and I tired out a ton of different gelato places during our stay. Overall this was a great tour and I would definitely recommend it to all of my friends.

It was brutal and when we actually walked through, it went quickly and before we knew it, we were done. I would have preferred the traditional method where the tour guide shows as well as teaches, instead of teaching you up front about what's to come and then you having to remember as you walk around.
