I was scheduled to have it re-examined in June 2020 but my appointment was canceled as Dr Mikhael was away until September. I indicated to receptionist that a lesion had developed and could I be examined by one the other dermatologists. The short and rude answer was "No" and they would call me at a later date to reschedule. I didn't see Dr. Mikhael until October. She cooly indicated I was rude to the front desk staff and I explained why I was upset. A biopsy of my ear reflected basal cell cancer. I was referred to a surgeon who was unable to remove all the cancer. I will shortly be undergoing further surgery at the Civic Hospital Mohs clinic. Can't help think this could have been avoided!

This can be clearly identified at their lack of policies on their website. It seems they have none other than which they make up as they go along. When you walk into this branch, the first thing you will notice is how dirty is it. There is obviously little regard to cleanliness as anything but a lick and a promise is evident. The washrooms are horrid and smell. It does nothing to boost your confidence at the reliability nor the staff. Ahhh the staff. Before this facility moved to a larger store-front location, it was an average place where you expected to wait a reasonable amount of time. Since moving, the wait time is intolerable to say the least. Staff are hurried and rude. Often chatting about their lives and non-work issues while supposedly working. The phone is basically ignored. So the backlog just gets longer and longer and the place fills up with fairly angry people. One can get a hip replacement faster than get blood work done here. There is a distinct lack of professional attitude bordering on belligerence. Favouritism is clear in that I and others have witnessed obvious "friends" walk in and be treated immediately. Other than having an "in", people with booked medical transportation also do not seem to matter; it's take a number and wait no matter if you have transportation booked for a specific time. One would think that at least they would take this into consideration. There is no triage here! One can wait up to 3 hours for simple blood work if they are busy. It is clearly obvious that this site cannot handle the traffic that they receive. And this is where mistakes can happen. Today I was witness to a gentleman who painfully wheeled in for some blood work to be done. The staff looked at his form and told him to take a number and wait. The man waited 2 and a half hours just to be told after all that because it was a hospital requisition they could not do the work there!! I was astounded at the stupidity showed and his reaction was one that many of us would have exhibited at this show of ineptness. I most certainly do not blame him for his behaviour. This company is one I would steer clear of. I left as I have had enough of this joke of a place. Get your tests done elsewhere if you want to feel at least competence is at work. They simply hang up! after 10 or 15 minutes waiting on line, you can hear them pickup the phone and then hang directly up. How could a caller possibly know this? Try calling them while waiting in their lobby! It is difficult to understand why a receptionist would simply hang up on a caller. Either DON'T take calls at all... have a message telling callers that "our receptionists are much too busy to bother answering your call..." or similar. There was a lineup at the front door waiting for the clinic to open at 9AM. Of course I have to wait 2 hours to see a doctor, but the clinic was very busy (27 patients came at the same time). The doctor give me the medication I asked for my condition with no problem. I highly recommended this medical clinic.

Show up on time and wait, wait, wait. Booked an annual…read morephysical with Dr. Meena Sharma for January 4/25. Five days before got a phone call saying my health card was invalid. It was not. Two days before got a 'reminder' phone call. One day before got a 'reminder' email. So, I showed up five minutes before my noon appointment. There were 11 people in the waiting area. At 12:05 PM got called in to "check my "vitals" which included height and blood pressure but not temperature or weight. Was sent back out to the waiting area at 12:10 PM. And there I sat until 1:10 PM - 70 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Patients showed up and left and when I checked about the delay, I was told the number of people still "in front" of me. Not helpful. Finally got invited into the inner sanctum. In the examining room a "physician assistant (PA)" took my history (already in their system; no changes) and conducted the entire physical examination even completed the Lab Requisition. Screaming child in the next room throughout. No Dr. Sharma in sight. She appeared ten minutes after the exam, signed the Requisition and asked if I had any health concerns. Certainly not here! I left never to return. I will visit my dog's veterinarian before I go back there. Santé Alliance Health is a commercial business masquerading as a medical clinic. They have a multi-page handout listing extra charges. A missed physical is $80. A prescription renewal is $20 by phone or book an in-person appointment (for which they bill OHIP the consult fee). There is a connected pharmacy to which they can refer you for "convenience". They overbook appointments with no respect for patients' time. Avoid. The ER is better.

I was really nervous to start my laser treatments on my legs and bikini. I am mixed with tanned skin and very dark and coarse hair. So I was (1) scared of the pain and (2) scared of getting burned. Well now I'm on my fifth treatment, and yes it did hurt, but not as much as I thought and it got better and better each treatment. And even though I'm not done my series yet, my legs are dramatically smoother. I can't be happier with Silde's work. She is honest, patient and very experienced. I used to have next day stubble on my legs, and now they can stay non-prickly for about a week bc the hair is thinner and softer and there's just way less of it lol. And I'm only half way through!
