We were looking for a colorful wildflower theme, which the team delivered perfectly. They were very organized and communicative, and accommodating to our needs. We asked them the week of the wedding if another bouquet could be added for a flower girl, and they were able to do this without a problem. Also, they helped bring flowers from the venue (where they were delivered) to the hotel where we were taking photos. The prices were very reasonable. We would recommend The Gypsy Rose to anyone having an event with flowers!! We couldn't be happier with their work.

Tucked away on Main St in Oxford, this hidden gem offers arrangements for weddings, funerals, home decor and those "I'm feeling awesome" days. I know you're wondering...and YES! They deliver daily! Locally AND across the state. The flowers are extremely fresh and fragrant as well. I also noticed they had a ton of cute succulents and mini glass & air gardens. Oh! And the most adorable hand-made garden crafts, such as stones and signs. I am definitely coming back for Baby Groot (see pictures). One last thing- I saw on their business card that they hold classes and there is a Justice of the Peace available. And one last, LAST thing....check out the shop attached to it called Enchanted Gift Loft. It's right upstairs and has some of the neatest gifts and little treasures. Ordered a "Bright Puppy Arrangement" (order #R147015771) for delivery on a specific date -- August…read more22 -- to a friend recovering from knee surgery. The flowers were not delivered that day, and I received zero proactive communication from the shop about the delay. I had to call and email repeatedly over several days just to find out what was happening, and even had to call my friend to ask if the flowers had shown up, which ruined the surprise entirely. The shop's only explanation was that "a few deliveries came back to the store" because people weren't home -- but my friend confirmed she was home all day and in the same spot the whole time. The flowers were finally redelivered on August 25, three days late, and by then the arrangement showed clear signs of age (fully open, flattened rose petals) -- it appeared to be the same arrangement that had been sitting since Saturday rather than a fresh one. I tipped the driver $10 in good faith at checkout, which in hindsight I regret given how this played out. The flowers themselves may have been fine originally, but the lack of communication and failure to honor the delivery date turned what should have been a thoughtful gift into a stressful, drawn-out ordeal. I would not recommend this shop for any time-sensitive order.

Unfortunate bait and switch during a difficult time. I ordered The Yellow Trio Basket. The…read moredescription read: "This delightful basket holds a plethora of sunny yellow flowering plants! So sweet, it's no wonder a darling little yellow bird has built its nest inside the basket. Two bright yellow miniature rose plants, plus a yellow kalanchoe and begonia are nestled right beside the little bird and her nest. It's all delivered in a charming round basket. It sends three times the cheer!" This arrangement was chosen as I support local florists and found that this florist offered a basket that honored exactly what the deceased loved; gardening and bird watching. I was shocked and mortified at what was actually delivered. There was never a call from the florist communicating that they did not have any of the items listed and would need to make substitutions. If that had happened I can assure you that a butterfly with a black x of tape across the back, pussy willows and a nose diving dove would never have been requested. Daffodils will never replace roses. When I called the shop thinking there had to have been a mix up- the woman I spoke to was very satisfied with her work, she stood firm behind defiant and all the while a man was screaming in the background. She did offer to send a bouquet of flowers to the recipient, I declined as I am fearful what would have been delivered. At one point they even said they would go pick the arrangement up from a grieving widow- what sort of customer service would even suggest that? You either make it right or you don't. They chose not to by stating what was sent was comparable to what I ordered. Let my $116 order and the photos uploaded help you chose who you order bereavement arrangements from in the future. Very unfortunate to have to experience such horrible customer service especially under the circumstances for which the order was placed. Buyer beware. Update: after my phone call- they added a disclaimer to their website about substitutions. Why order from a florist who now basically states "you get what you get and don't get upset" So very sad. Update part 2 - we recreated the original basket on our own with the help from Michaels and a couple of local florists who were mortified when the saw what has now been dubbed "the do it yourself Easter arrangement" Like if you paid to go to a beginners floral class as Michaels and you chose an item from each station to fit into your $3 basket. There are good people willing to help under sad circumstances. I hope the owner takes this feedback and does better. Bereavement flowers NEVER should have looked like that. Ever.

A few months later I met with them for a consult at the Oxford location. Sharen and her daughter helped me through so many choices including picking the exact color roses. She special ordered preserved shelf mushrooms for the bouquets and found adorable foam mushrooms for the boutonniere . The pricing was the best I found especially for such unique items! On the wedding day they delivered and set up several gorgeous arrangements as well as the wedding party's items and of course my bouquet.
