They gave me a 45 minute ETA, and kept their promise (actually a little early). Towed me directly to my mechanic for a reasonable price (the price quoted). There was some minor damage to the front end air dam- bumper, only a close examination in broad daylight revealed this and I didn't notice until much later so I didn't make an issue of it. Whether there's a tiny crack and space, or the front end is seriously damaged, Audi repair costs the same, an arm and a bloody leg. So, I wouldn't have felt right trying to get them to compensate for what might not have been preventable damage, these cars do sit very low to the ground (low profile). The tow drive was as careful as possible as far as I could see.
