The people who cut the tree were supposed to remove the cut branches. I was surprised when I received a phone call from the company a month ago asking me to pay for the services. I never saw anybody from the company. I do not know who removed the branches, the city, the people who cut the tree, or the company. I specifically said that I do not require their services. Yet, I finally received an invoice for $321.00. I have nothing good to say about Lexington Tree Service except they are fraudulent liars. I will pay the bill but advise everybody to avoid the company.

Outdoor spaces gave us a schedule (which was very tight), and brought our various projects in on time.(and a couple of projects were done during Covid) Any time we had questions or issues, they would follow-up immediately. The management, and entire work team, were very conscientious, and made sure things were done according to specifications. (no corner cutting) Outdoor spaces also coordinated with the various other companies, such as fencing, plumbing, electrical, etc .. to make sure things happened on schedule. They even worked with the city, and our homeowners association to get various permits and approvals for the work that was done. It is amazing the transformation Outdoor Spaces did to our entire "outdoor space". Every project they did was in collaboration with our needs, and our budget. Nothing was cookie cutter.. When we moved to our house in January, the hill was completely covered with brush, thorny thatches and viny messes. We were able to clear out most of it ourselves, but were left with land filled with holes, uneven land, and weeds. It was dangerous to mow, dirt ran down the hill every time we got a big rain, and we were struggling to grow grass on it. At a very reasonable price, Diamond Pond came out and did a great job levelling out the land, clearing stumps and rocks, and planting grass with protective netting to ensure the seed and dirt don't erode. Because the hill is so steep, it was extremely challenging and exhausting work, especially in this heat, but they did it with high quality and great work ethic! Diamond Pond's customer service was also the best! When additional work or supplies/equipment (ex. dirt, excavator) were needed, they took care of it as it was needed. John & Tim are good, honest and trustworthy businessmen, and we really appreciated their excellent customer service!

Sure, they seemed a little rushed - spending a total of 7 minutes maximum on our front and backyard each time. Sure, they seemed a little lazy - mowing around a stick in the yard instead of simply going the extra mile to move it and do a decent job. But this summer, it became unmanageable. The yard would look patchy and clumpy immediately after they visited. When we called and told them about our concerns, we were told it was because of all the rain. When we said, okay, well the team seems a bit rushed, do you think they could take a second pass if the grass is longer? Maybe spend 10 whole minutes at our house, especially since we were repeat customers? Apparently not, this is the result of that next mow after we asked for some extra attention to detail. They spent 5 minutes total, pushing over the still wet grass, without even making a second pass like we had asked. We tried to get them to work with us and stand behind their service, but it's clear they don't care. When we called to tell them our frustrations, they wouldn't even come out to correct this hack job. There are too many good lawn care services in Lexington to choose one like this that clearly doesn't believe in attention to detail.

We were very satisfied with this company's work. We first had someone come out and assess our…read moresituation: some very tall, neglected black cherries (approx 2-3' across) needed attention on our newly purchased property. We learned what was healthy, what wasn't, and options for correction. We had two cleaned up with some awkward branches removed, and one entirely cut down. Because we have a fireplace we wanted to keep most of the large segments. They were accommodating, and stacked nicely-sized pieces in a pre-selected spot. They cleaned up after the work more than we expected, too. They even took debris from other trees I had trimmed myself. Nice people with positive attitudes are so great!
