I left a review five years ago for Healthcare Consultants. We continue to use them for our health insurance needs. You should as well.

Today I contacted Community Health Choice for the first time by calling the phone number listed on…read moremy member ID card, which I recently received. I had several questions and requested a Russian interpreter. The first customer service representative and the interpreter were both very helpful and assisted me with all of my questions. The only remaining issue was updating my email address and phone number so that I could register my own account. At the time, the account contained my husband's email address and phone number. The representative updated my information temporarily and explained that I would need to call another department to have the changes made permanently. She specifically instructed me to explain that the update was only for my account and not for both spouses. I thanked her and asked to be transferred to that department so I could complete the process. After I was transferred, I again requested a Russian interpreter and explained exactly what the first representative had instructed me to say. Unfortunately, the second interpreter did not simply interpret the conversation. Instead, she began asking me additional questions and did not translate what I was saying to the representative. She also started telling me that I had called the wrong department and that I needed to call somewhere else, even though I had been directly transferred there by your representative. I was very surprised and uncomfortable with this interaction. I ended the call because I felt that the interpreter was not properly performing her role. Looking back, I realize I should have requested a different interpreter, but at the time I was shocked by the situation. I would like to provide this feedback so that additional training can be given to Russian interpreters regarding their responsibilities. Interpreters should accurately translate the conversation between the customer and the representative rather than engage in personal discussions or provide their own opinions about where a customer should or should not call. I would also like to express my appreciation for the first interpreter and the first representative, who were both professional, helpful, and patient. My concern is specifically regarding the conduct of the second interpreter. Thank you for taking the time to review my feedback.

I would give a negative ten rating if I could. Absolutely horrible service. Representative refuses…read moreto provide any contact information for supervisor or manager. When I insisted to speak to manager, representative hung up the call. Never received call back when they said someone will call you back. Always give you run around and blame Healthcare.gov market place for their mistake. Do not use them!!!

My company recently took up office space here after moving out of the downtown area to a more…read moreaccessible zone. This place is really good, the staff are very friendly and more importantly the services provided have so far been bang on. Internet, conference rooms and of course our own office space have been definitely up to scratch and certainly what we were looking for. Location wise I think this is ideal, I could never live in the Galleria district but for getting onto the 610 and getting out to other zones and areas it is ideal. Getting out at lunches for either the all important yelp UYE lunch bunches or even to spend your hard earned salary at any number of the stores is perfect. The Blue Cross Blue Shield building also had a great deli on its sixth floor, again the staff there are really friendly the food is great for a building food canteen and the price is extremely reasonable. On the subject of price also I should mention the office rental is pretty decent here also, I'm not gonna go into details about it but we have a pretty decent space for four desks and with all the services provided we are paying a shed load less than we were previously for half the crap we had to put up with downtown. Move your business to the Blue Cross Blue Shield building, they do what they promise and won't shaft you on the price.

Having had Cigna for the longest time, it's unimaginable to see how truly in efficient BCBS TX is…read moreand can be. They boast of a digital platform, with a referrals tab, and when I went to find 2 actual referrals - they were not there. I was informed that the said referrals tab is for something else and that they only send out referrals by mail. When I submitted claims from my referred provider - their system is either so old school, or they really don't know how to do things because they kept flagging the referral claim as out of network despite themselves having approved the referral. I have spent more than 2 hours on the phone to resolve this issue and it's still not resolved. One customer care agent whom I spoke with asked me to repeat the issue 10 times almost, and still didn't get what is being asked of them, that I had to ask to be transferred to another agent. I have zero comments to write, because they feel so negative to even post. Another instance about a medicine - I was prescribed 2 basic medicines which in their pharmacy cost estimator showed me as $0 out of pocket payment, however I was billed the full amount and despite having appealed the claim twice, they keep on rejecting it. Why show false information in the first place? My conclusion is therefore that they just want people's money because most people are going thru them by their employer, and have zero incentive to improve their product, platform and customer care. And recently, maybe someone was vibe coding and broke their auth, because their login asks me the same question 3 times - "click this box to prove you're not a robot". 3 times?! It has basically added a friction point even to login to their website, and when you call customer care, their automated bot repeats on loop that their web platform is the best place to find all information are you kidding me?
