We love OurKids Daycare! They are so awesome! Our 3 year old always comes home with fun stories and raves about her lunches and snacks (she loves her food haha). She is potty trained, but has accidents now and again and her teachers have helped her make sure she gets to the bathroom before she has accidents. Our infant had a flat spot on his head from laying on one side too much at home and they are helping to be sure he doesn't lay on that side so we can correct it. Prices are great! Have nothing but awesome things to say about the daycare and the staff. They all greet us when we walk in and send us off with well wishes when we leave, both at drop off and pick up. Love seeing the pictures and videos on Facebook. I was very nervous to bring my kids to daycare for the first time having read a bad review, but I was so glad that I found out for myself what a great daycare this is! None of those reviews have been relevant thus far and whenever I've had a question or concern Sheri has been so great about discussing it with me. I absolutely love this daycare and the people who work there. I would recommend it to anyone who needed childcare in the Middleton/Caldwell area. The owner and all staff are amazing. When I first started taking my daughter here in 2008, I chose Our Kids because of the convenience of having childcare right next to my place of employment. I became very comfortable with the staff and environment at Our Kids. My daughter loved going everyday which helped my decision tremendously. I felt confident my daughter was in great hands. Now In 2018, I no longer work in Middleton, I haved moved 20 or so miles from the daycare, but still made the choice to drive my son here everyday because of the trustworthy, caring, and upbeat attitude of the entire staff and the facility. I wanted to update my thoughts. The owner is delusional. She thinks that poor communication will get a message across properly. Clearly doesn't know the definition of proper or clear communication, spineless. Try to resolve any issue, nope... she can't handle it. She worries her staff will quit, as I have written proof of her saying this. Her staff isn't equipped with the knowledge of how to handle stressful situations. They don't teach your children, they heard them. If your child needs any extra attention, forget it! They'll stick them in time out cause her "staff is stressed out and might quit". I pray this lady gets a reality check. I should have pulled my child sooner. Then mental abuse my child endured here is unreal. This place is amazing!! As new residents to Idhao and Middleton we had no idea where to even start. I had toured many places and this place by far out shined them all. The staff is friendly and comforting, the facility is very clean and safe for the kiddos and the preschool teacher was so patient teaching all the children. They have kids club in the afternoon that my daughter loves to go to after preschool session is over. There they have tons of arts and crafts and games to keep the kids well entertained. This is such a wonderful daycare! I have been taking my children here for 4+ years and have no complaints. The teachers are very involved and actually play WITH the children. They listen to parent concerns and requests. There is a great preschool block too, that is great for children 3 to Kinder. There is always a teacher out front, whenever I am dropping off my children or picking up. They don't feed the children garbage; always good home-cooked meals. UNPROFESSIONAL on so many levels. Owner lacks responsibility and takes automatics defense towards potential, existing and past clientele. The owner of this business has even openly admitted to having overwhelmed/overstimulated staff that aren't properly equipped or trained to disclosed even basic information to parents or guardians. I recently moved to this area and was checking out day cares for my daughter. I came in about 11 am there were kids all about playing and such. I did not see one adult, I stood there for 10 minutes waiting, waiting and waiting. Never did see an employee, an adult anywhere. I would not leave my child here even if they paid me. Anyone could have walked in and taken a child, your child. I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

Our Kids had been apart of our family for 5 years. They've helped raise our 2 girls and they've been amazing throughout the process.
