So unfortunately I didn't read reviews prior to hiring them to move us from our 1 bedroom apartment to our new home, because they broke over $800 worth of items beyond repair (vanity and television), to then only agree to reimburse us $46, even though the guy moving us said they had insurance and would reimbursement us in total for the damage incurred. I have called them twice now to schedule a move with a Groupon voucher I purchased. The first was a week ago. After 10 min on the phone they said their system was slow and they would have to call back. They never did, but committed to have availability on Good Friday before the original call ended. After calling them again today, they said they no longer have availability and then hung up on me. Very short and rude on the phone. After reading the other recent reviews, I agree they are 1-star. Andrew, Garret, & Dom were amazing! They made moving so easy, & they had a good sense of humor on top of their great quality service. To clarify, my review was 3 stars because the operator convinced me that the truck was big enough to move a 4 bedrooms with one trip. My original plan was to start at a storage facility to empty that out, then meet at the old residence to gather more belongings, & finally meet at the new residence. This took multiple trips between the old & new residence. Therefore, it took +8 hours to complete each day. Plus, there was an $80 fuel fee & that was not discussed during the time making the appointment. Wish these services were clarified beforehand, either via phone call or written. Additionally, insurance was not discussed until the middle of the move, which further delayed the progress of moving all our items. Insurance should have been discussed beforehand. The operator previously confirmed that the move could be completed in 4-5 hours at most, but ended up spanning over a two day trip due to the afternoon starts. Overall, the movers were amazing, but the company itself fell short of expectation. Update as of March 15, 2021 I have to regretfully update my review to 1 star. Although the movers were great to work with, the company itself fails to follow up in a timely manner. In sum, the movers assisted with moving the washer & dryer on February 27th from the townhouse to the new house. (To clarify, both the washer & dryer were in working condition when we left.) We attempted to do laundry in the early morning of February 28th. However, the dryer would not turn on. Everything seemed to be plugged in & installed correctly; however, we are concerned if something may have happened during the move. We attempted to call Our Truck Moving throughout a couple of days (February 28th-March 1st) & left a couple of voice messages. We were able to a receive a followup call at all to this day. In addition, we have purchased the bronze insurance for our move. We have e-mailed the claims department several times. (We have e-mailed them on March 1st, 2nd, 5th, 9th, 10th, & 11th thus far. We have been requesting to either get a refund of our insurance back or for Our Truck Moving to cover the repair costs of the dryer.) Although we have filled out the claims form, we still have not heard back from them. This issue is very difficult for us because both my sister & I are healthcare workers, are at the bedside taking care of victims of the pandemic, and have dynamic work schedules. Scheduling the move was confusing. Luckily they were able to get my move in by the date I needed. That isn't the reason behind my 1 star review though. The move itself was horrible, only one mover seemed to know what they were doing, I got a scratch on a new TV, scuffs all over my new loft walls.. I mentioned it to the mover and he didn't even apologize. My old apartment got dents and scratches on my old door. The mover had the couch leaning over and squished my foot at one point. Our move was scheduled for Friday evening. When the two gentlemen arrived at 6p, they informed us they had been working since 7a. Understandably they were exhausted after a 12 hour day, in the 100+ degree Dallas heat. Once they finished loading all of our stuff in after 9p, we started to head over to our new home which is only a 15 minute drive. While we are in route, we get a call from one of the movers telling us that he isn't feeling well and is having back cramps and he doesn't feel like he can complete the move today. He provided us with 2 options. Either he can push through and get our furniture unloaded into our new place which he would rather not do, or they can store the moving truck with all of our furniture in it at their warehouse and complete the move the following day. He provided us with the number of his supervisor John which we then reached out to discuss our options. We explained to John that our whole life was literally in that moving truck. At our new home, we didnt have anything. Which means we didnt have a bed, bedsheets, blankets etc. Furthermore, we have a newborn boy and his clothes, basinet and even formula were boxed in that truck since we were expecting everything to be moved in that same evening. We asked John if we got a cheap motel for $40 for the night, if they could reimburse that charge and he said no. Omair and I didnt want to jeopardize the health and well being of another individual due to our move, which is why we decided that we didnt want to force the mover to complete the move on that same day which should have been the case, however John was completely dead set on not helping us at all. Omair and I even tried to buy an air mattress so we had a place to sleep at least, however due to COVID-19, all the stores were already closed. We were out of options and we, along with our newborn son had to sleep on the floor for the night. And our floors are hard wood floors, not even having the comfort and luxury of carpet to sleep on. The following morning 2 new movers arrived and unloaded all of our furniture very quickly and professionally. Also during the move, our brand new Peloton Bike ($2,200) was broken as well. Following the move, we tried reaching out to John multiple times to no avail. In the most objective way I can convey, working with Our Truck was very disappointing (to say the least). MIn the beginning with the sales representatives the experience was positive, but it went downhill from when the movers arrived. I was moving from a one bedroom apartment on the second floor to another one bedroom on the second floor, only 20 minutes away from each other. All of my boxes were stacked in the front of my apartment (maybe around 10 large and 4 small) and the only items left were my bed, nightstand, table, tv, and entertainment center. It took the 2 movers nearly 2 hours just to get everything in the truck on the first apartment, and they destroyed my nightstand in the process. They bent my bed poles in the process and were struggling to carry my couch. To make things worse, there was no time to reassemble anything when they got to my second apartment. The move took 3.5hours which added an extra $200 to my bill when I had already paid for 2 hours (thinking it couldn't take too long for them to move ready to go items). I tried to speak with management about reimbursement for lost time (due to the clean up of my broken furniture) and my broken furniture and was met with an attitude and shady behavior. Their manager wouldn't give me any number or email to contact. I had to call and email 3-4 times to get a hold of someone and waited 3 months for them to meet me with $30 reimbursement for the nightstand (when I was originally told $10-15) and no remorse. They made my move terrible and the movers estimated my move would be under 2 hours "Easy". TIP: Make sure to agree upon price for every expensive piece of furniture or they will default to .60 per pound article - if you can even get a hold of their customer care office or managers. It's in their contract that you can agree ahead of time, so don't let them waste your time first. I never thought my one bedroom furniture would be this difficult for an experienced moving company. I had 4 people with me and all of them thought this was ridiculous service. Be careful before booking and make sure the movers you get can lift heavy items. read more

So... these guys were to my liking....my only complaint is after working 24 hour shift (I'm a firefighter paramedic) In the biggest city in central Texas and leaving Straight from work to my storage shed and sitting there for 2 hours waiting on them to arrive sucked. The extra cost for the truck is $85 and $25 for stairs. I put down $40 as deposit (which they said will go towards the ending balance) when I booked the appointment. The movers (Adrianna and another guy) showed up during the timeframe and went over the cost with me. I live on the third floor, so $85+$25+$25=$135 if I stay within the 2-hour timeframe. That's The the number that was presented to me. The movers were a bit of slow in our opinion and we had to move stuff ourselves with them. They, however, managed to move all the big items.  I ended up paying Adriana $135 cash and $40 cash for tips. The next day I remembered that I paid $40 in advance for deposit and that didn't get applied or mentioned. I called the company and they basically said Adriana returned the right amount of money to them and their record is good. They will contact Adriana and let me know.  That was almost 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything. This is a dishonest company. I found this moving company on Groupon about 2 weeks before I had to move and the booking process was super easy and simple. I was charged a stair and trip fee, but I've moved so many times it's not out of the norm. They sent me a reservation email outlining all the charges. We scheduled for first thing Monday morning and I was advised they'd meet me between 8 - 9 AM, they called me promptly at 8 AM to tell me they'd be there in 30 minutes. The movers were super nice and I thought everything was great. I had a headboard that needed to be taken apart and they made sure to put it back in the spot I wanted it in the new place. I also had glass/mirrored furniture that had no damage during the move. I have never used a moving company but decided to for our new home. I bought the deal on Groupon and because I lived so far outside of Dallas I needed to pay a $70 trip fee. The movers came and move us out of our rental house (only the heavy stuff) to the new home. While they were at the old house with my man the made a huge scratch along with a dent to match on the front of the front door whiten my man called them out on. Next they chipped the paint real bad beside the master bed, jacked up the whole side of my armoire with all kinds of dents and scraps. Next......they manage to put a huge scratch and matching dent on the front door of my dryer along with a side panel missing!!!! These a-holes sent me a claim form and it had to be filled out and notarized. I sent in the form and they sent an email back saying someone will contact me soon. IT NEVER HAPPENED! I would defintely not recommend them. I would have given them zero stars but this sight won't let me. I hired them to move my things in my apartment from my storage. A very seemless move as everything was all in one spot, packed up, and all I needed was the heavy stuff so it was approx 10 items (two dressers, 2 beds, a washer and dryer, a couch and loveseat and a dinning room table) everything else I was going to move myself. They took my deposit, I took time off work and the day of my move they emailed me (No call no explanation in the email or anything) cancelling my move. No option to reschedule or anything. I must have called atleast 20 times, sent dozens of text and emails but got no response. Once someone did call me the next day he was very nonchalant like he didn't even care of all the inconvenience. I didn't dare try to reschedule (How do I know they won't do the same thing again?) by then my sister had already helped me book other movers that, were not only cheaper, the movers were great and efficient. I used this service and the movers somehow misplaced the cushions to my $14,000 Minotti Sofa that is no longer in production (so I can't order them or get them re-made so now the couch is incomplete and worth much less than the normal re sale value). When I filed the claim I basically got told I'm shit out of the luck bc it's not their problem...and that they hope they find my cushions. This is a huge loss that could have been avoided if the movers paid attention or did their job thoroughly... The administrative person who I originally called to report this questioned my memory of the move and spoke to me as if I wasn't sure of what I was talking about or if I was making an illegitimate accusation. I know for an absolute fact the movers lost these cushions, it was the last item they took as they left my apartment and moved me into my new one. The movers told me to fill out a form and I'd be reimbursed in 30 days. I fill out the form then proceed to call and email multiple times a week with no response. After a few more weeks of reaching out with no response, I finally hear back that they are going to reimburse me $30 for my two year old West Elm coffee table. I had a move on January 12th, that I can say might have been some of the worst service that I have ever received. I had to get a 2-bedroom apartment moved out which was already pre-packed, and ready at the time of the mover's arrival. Prior to the day, I had budgeted for the movers which also included a tip. When I went to purchase the Groupon, I first called and spoke with John and mentioned everything to them about how I was on the third floor and mentioned my biggest items. I expressed that I would not mind paying cash directly to the company for the advertised rate and John mentioned, that If I wanted that rate I must go through Groupon, which was fine. Once I purchased my Groupon, I called back and scheduled my service, at that time John then mentioned some hidden fees; The floor fee and service fee of $95 additional dollars. Did I expect that the "too good to be true groupon" would just cost me $89 dollars for two hours? Hell no, so I agreed and scheduled. At the time of arrival, I inquired John about wrapping my furniture which was advertised, and he then said that it had been forgotten. Well, once John arrived, he said that due to the stairs and him having to "swivel" furniture I would definitively be over the two hours which would then be charged at an additional rate of $95 plus an hour. At that moment I was skeptical; I have had movers before, and they completed the job within that time frame. John took his sweet time and was carrying everything one by one, until I asked him if he had a dolly to move things, since it would make it easier. John's helper appeared to be training (which I am perfectly fine with), however he seemed to be moving quicker than John. As the move continued, I overheard a conversation where John was talking about how the company was losing money on Groupon, and if I had a problem with it, then I needed to take it up with the owner since he was just a worker. Due to John's slow pace, 2 other adults and myself had to assist in the move. Since I knew my time was not taken seriously, I stopped them exactly at the hour mark and headed to the storage where there too I had to help them move everything out which only took about thirty minutes. I was not happy with John, I felt like he had a snarky attitude and was trying to rip me off. His helper Justin was friendly, fast and trying to get things accomplished within a timely manner, even though John kept telling him to slow down. On Monday, I had my assistant do some research to try to get ahold of an owner which John who answered the phone said "If you are not going to tell me the issues then I doubt an owner will call you". I guess he didn't realize he was the issue. I am a realtor, and I have family with a brokerage firm. I was hoping I was going to have a positive experience, and maybe even add them to our list of referrals but I wouldn't want this company to move a hamster cage for anyone. Drove an hour to my destination to meet my movers. Took time off work for them to call me at the time of arrival that they will not be coming to do my move. After explaining that this is unacceptable and to expect a negative review they then said they were cancelling our move because he doesn't want to put his drivers in an "aggressive" situation. A situation where you have completely screwed over you customer who already paid for a deposit and said you would be receiving a bad review....explain how that's aggressive? Lady I spoke to on the phone was pleasant. Gentleman that called me at the time they were supposed to arrive to cancel was an idiot and the best they could do to accommodate us was give me a $25 off a stair fee. My hourly wage is much higher then $25 and that doesn't compensate accordingly to having someone drive an hour away to meet you guys and then cancel the moment you are supposed to arrive. I would love to be able to review them based on their quality of work but we were not able to get that far. However if you have time to just waste they are the movers for you. This company is full of scammers from owner(Chris) to (John) employee. Their Groupon deal sounded too good to be true and surely it was. They generated another receipt day after providing me with moving service. Used my e signature from previous receipt and charged me again. Upon finding out about extra charge I called to inquire and supposedly John didn't have access to my itemized receipt. He said he will call me back which he never did. Gave me the run around for 2 days and than claimed that I took back the cash I gave them initially(I did) but they had already inCluded that amount on the charge they put on my credit card. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!! THEY COMMITTED FRAUD ON MY ACCOUNT!!! I have used this moving company before two times, and this was my third time using them. After getting excellent service the first two times, the third time was an absolute disaster. To begin, my movers were over 2 and a half hours late. The two men that came, one of them it was their first day, and the other had been on the job for only 3 weeks. Upon entering my apartment, I immediately noticed that there was no sense of urgency. They moved very slow and and me and my 16 yr old son had to help them move all the boxes. My son was putting boxes on the dolly for them, and taking it to the truck, while one of the workers was on his cell phone telling him where to put the box. That is absolutely unacceptable. Also, bc of them moving slowly, my sister had to come out of an important meeting to help me and my son shrink wrap all of my furniture. These movers DID NOT shrink wrap one thing. WE had to do everything ourselves. Also, one of the movers had no clue how to move an adjustable base, and neither of them knew how to break down my couches. One of the workers spent majority of his time on his cell phone and trying to talk to women at my apartments and was using very inappropriate language. Because of them not being able to break down my couches, they ended up having to make two trips, and also when getting to my home, my son also was on the truck moving, furniture, mattresses, and everything else off the truck with them as like he was apart of the crew working. To add insult to injury, the bottom of my leather couch, some of the fabric was torn off and they also dropped the couch on my foot while moving it in. My chester drawer also, got completely scratched on the bottom foot, and my son's chester was scratched at the top and also my daughters nightstand was scratched. All scratches are noticeable. It was absolutely a horrid experience. I felt like me and my son did 50 percent of the work. We was so tired and exhausted and I still had to go back to my apartment to turn in keys and clean up and it was at night. The other disgusting thing is when all of this was going on, I tried contacting the manager and he never picked up. I left a voicemail and no response. After completion, they gave a total that was well over the amount that I was supposed to pay. I was paying for 3 hours of moving services. They contacted their manager and of course he picks up their phone call, after explaining to the manager what all I have encountered and all we had to endure, we should only be paying for the amount of time that we scheduled for. The manager said okay, and instructed the movers to put that total that I paid in cash. After they left, not even an hour later, I received an email with a receipt. They took an extra $125.00 from my debit card without my authorization. This was absolutely unnacceptable, I tried contacting the manager again twice and no pick up. The next day, I had to contact my bank to report the fraud and was able to receive my funds back. I wanted to ensure that I put this review out there to make sure nobody goes through what I went through. Please reconsider moving with this company. You do not know what your going to get. My time frame that I initially signed up for was between 3 and 7, and my movers arrived around 6:20. Despite a very busy day for them, my two movers were awesome!! I scheduled a move with them I am very very disappointed and unsatisfied. I wrote the review and got an answer from the owner saying to contact him or email him. I don't hv a name or email or phone number for him. I tried to get in touch with them so I can get in touch with the owner but the guy said he doesn't know the owner info and can't help me. This was the most horrible horrible move and experience of my life. Even when u hire people from outside they don't treat u like this. I would never recommend this company to anyone. read more

Our truck moving dragged our things across the floor and did irreparable damage to our TV and furniture (totaling over $800) because they backed the ruck poorly. When we contacted them with the damages, they offered us about $40 to replace the items. Please save your time and money by choosing a different mover. read more

Worst service I've ever experienced, leading me to my very first Yelp review. I had a move booked weeks in advance and was told 45 minutes after the move date was to start that "movers went home for the day and there is nothing else we can do". Left me stuck at the last possible minute. I had already paid a down payment and everything. I called the Veteran's Moving Service and they arrived within 30 minutes and could not be nicer. My husband and I used this company, and it was the biggest mistake we could have made. The manager trained movers on the job, and most importantly on our dime. Our items were dropped on the concrete, our TVs were not wrapped and protected, and several items were damaged during the move. What should have been a 2 hour move took 3 hours. Might I add, my husband had to put together our dining table and entertainment center because they were moving so slow. To date, we have completed a claim form and have received no response from management. Please save yourself time and frustration and use another company! read more

Our Truck Moving was AMAZING!! This is the first time I used a moving company and I was not disappointed. The two gentleman were very friendly and kept us updated on where they were at in the loading process. Our apartments are very confusing to navigate and the guys asked questions and made the process seamless. I will use this company again. As the rates were the best and they accommodated a last minute hold up by the leasing office not having the keys for the new apartment ready. Other movers wanted to charge a rate, fuel fee, stair fee, and travel rate from their depot to the site and back. That was ridiculous. Our Truck Moving gave us a flat rate, took a small $40 deposit to reserve, and was able to accommodate our short move window. Hands down reliable and reputable. One of the gentleman even picked up a random piece of trash he saw in the complex and threw it in his truck. That is a person who cares!! read more

This is the WORST moving company ever!!!! I booked 3 weeks in advance, and paid the deposit they never showed up! They were suppose to be there between 8-9 am. They sent a text the day before to confirm the appointment so I assumed they would be there. By 9:30 when I had not heard from them , my husband and I tried calling. Of course no one answered!! Then when they did finally answer they hung up. After 2 hours of calling, someone finally answered and told us WE need to call the manger. Of course the number they give us is the same number that we cant get any one to answer! They are a SCAM!!! So we had to find another moving truck the same day 2 days before Thanksgiving, so you can imagine how that went. On top of it costing me a fortune because it was a same day move! Then they call the next day and ask how the move went? Are you fucking kidding me!! It didn't go, you didn't show up!! So Jennifer tells my husband she will call me to refund the money that a I paid, so I miss the call. I call right back and again they she wouldn't answer the phone. It's a week later and still no refund. Use them at your own RISK. Instead of 1 star I would give them the middle finger but it's not an option on here. I am filing a complaint with BBB. read more
