We are now in 2026 and despite several follow ups, the management has failed to make an arrangement to deliver the fully paid for appliances or arrange a refund. The next day I hadn't heard back at all, so I followed up and found out they never rescheduled the delivery. The next available date was now at the end of the week (a full 5 days later than planned). When the team arrived, they discovered after 15 min that they forgot their tools, and left for another 45 min to go buy more. When it was finally in, they told me they were missing access to a needed outlet (this was not mentioned before they placed it in the cabinet). I was asked to use an extension cord, and they wanted to leave immediately (before I could get the extension cord and test the machine. I insisted on testing the machine, an then noticed after they left that there was a chip in the door frame and some scratches on the washer door. Now less than 2 months later, the dryer vent hose fell down from it's connection in the ceiling. It turns out that they only used tape, and no actual ties. I called CAS and they refuse to take any accountability for the shoddy installation and service. They've told me to deal with it myself. Save your money and hassle, and go with ANY other appliance company. This is the last time I'll be buying anything from CAS (and my friends who are currently undergoing renovations and buying new appliances have also been warned to take their business elsewhere. I should note that a few years ago I bought a whole suite of new appliances from CAS in Etobicoke, and it was also a pretty unpleasant experience. The sales rep was extremely condescending and chauvinistic, and the delivery schedule was extremely stressful. I should never have gone back, and I don't plan to ever again.

First dishwasher I got had a 12" gash/dent in the front. They offered me $80 (less than 10% of the purchase price) to keep it. I went back to CAS to tell them my dishwasher was damaged... they just chuckled. The guy who EVENTUALLY installed my replacement (not damaged) dishwasher was great. That was the only tiny positive! Don't ever shop at CAS unless you care about your time AND money.

I let them deal directly with the tenants. They never showed up to fix it, but I didn't know. The tenants moved out and I discovered the freezer was still not working, but this was 8 months after I bought the fridge. I called Used Appliance Warehouse and was treated in the most rude manner possible. The guy hung up on me when I said that they had not honoured their offer to go have a look at the fridge. Not only do they sell faulty products, but they are completely unprofessional when you have to deal with them. Forget it.

We ordered a gas dryer from them. ...and we had very specific size restrictions. They had a couple of options and we had to backorder the one we wanted. Having said that, the moment it came in, they arranged to deliver it and have a gas installer come and hook it up. We had been without a dryer for about 6 weeks, and they really ensured they delivered it before Christmas. Great service. PS We also got the dryer at a great price and for a small fee (btw all charge something for this), they took our old one away. Check these guys out -- you won't be disappointed. BTW - a big shout out for Shelley - who took care of our order, and Tony who made sure it was delivered and hooked up the same day!

Sometimes I would ask the opinion or advise of the owner, at times he was helpful but usually he was more interested in selling things that did not work for my growing system so its important to know what you want before you go there. Every time I went there I would call him and let him know of my arrival time. The thing that bothered me the most was that when talking with him on the phone most of the time he would put me on hold and tell me there was a customer standing in front of him and then when I was there actually sitting in front of him in my wheelchair he would talk for long periods of time on the phone and when I asked him to take care of me he explained that he was on the phone with a customer. I felt this to be extremely disrespectful and inconsiderate so the last time I walked out and never went back.
