They routinely forgot to feed him or fed him with food in closed containers without silverware or food cut so he could eat it. He went over one month without an attempt at a shower, teeth brushed, bed changed and his room cleaned. There was regularly feces and vomit on his walls and floor. He was forced to use a towel when toileting as they did not keep his bathroom stocked with toilet paper. Despite significant feedback to every staff that would listen these significant concerns remained. Maple Ridge robbed my father of his dignity. Do not send a loved one to this terrible place. The head nurse, Heather Lambert informed me she "shoves" his medical record into a drawer with everyone else's and never looks at them. The documentation showed significant neglect and showed he did not receive basic care.

Ashley who guided me to the patient exam room and did my triage/pre-assessment was very kind and patient, and also had some pretty stylish boots. For a medical office, I must say they were a stylish bunch and I let them know it, but I did go on their Casual Friday as they told me it was. The office was also very clean, smelled nice, and even was decorated for Christmas. It seems that they are quite booked because the physicals they had available to book were few which is a good sign. It's just a little bit challenging if you are a new patient (which I was/am). Overall, I just wished to say that the staff was very nice. Dr. Sarah (who is an ARNP, but i still call nurse practitioners and PA's doctors anyways lol) was pleasant and went through my health questionnaire and also addressed my cold/swollen lymph nodes concern. I also like that there is a pharmacy located behind the office as well. A nice added touch was the Christmas tree in the corner that had knit mittens on it that you could either take a pair from or donate a pair to. There is also a bulletin board that communicates things such as vaccine schedules, therapy help, and other things like a wellness drumming session which i did not know existed. I had to schedule my physical exam a few months out, but I appreciated the promptness of my appt. and the candor in which the staff demonstrated towards me. I never met a more amazing health care provider. She actually listens and helps with your issues. The only reason I stayed during the rough patch was her. I have never regretted it. She thoroughly inventoried/surveyed my issues, and made our brief time very effective. Her office is small; however, the private room where she treats clients is very warm and inviting, and a lot of thought was put into making the room as comfortable as possible. Her office also was super convenient to The Inn at Essex, which is where I was spending the week, so this added to the overall goal I had to make my vacation as restful and restorative as possible. Having been scammed myself, I totally understand the profanity. I'm nearly 80 and have been a patient of Kathy's for 8 months. I'm so very grateful for all she's done for me. I am definitely stronger and more limber than when I began seeing her. Every time I leave after a session I feel as though I can leap tall buildings in a single bound! I immediately had the card cancelled on the spot, please see below original message received. Later that weekend when I was able to, I called Citi Card and asked for the full information of the organization trying to use my credit card fraudulently in case there might have been an error on their part. It was confirmed that the company was Family Physical #802-244-1140 so I reached out to the company via the phone number given to me, no answer so I sent email and received the following response from their owner. Very class act, I personally would think twice about visiting such a rude owner. You would think they would have apologized or better yet, investigated how they got my credit card info rather than insulting the person whom they tried to steal from. I guess considering how they tried to steal from me almost $1000, I should have expected this low class response. Authorities are going to be contacted but 'buyer beware'.
