I also loved that I was able to take my classes at Spartan Firearms in Streetsboro. They were split up into 3 classes (2 3-hour classroom sessions, and a 2-hour range session). I had the pleasure of being a student under Jacob Fischer for obtaining my CCW. After teaching the laws for my state and answering multiple questions, he did a great job showing my classmate and I how to properly handle a handgun. He showed us everything from proper safety to how to fix our target groupings. Jacob used effective methods to fix our bad shooting habits to make sure we qualified for our certificates. My 16-year old daughter and I were interested in some basic pistol training. We didn't know what to expect, but the training was outstanding. The instructor, Joey, was very patient and made it a fun experience for both of us. We started with some classroom instruction then went to the range. Jake is a very knowledgeable guy. He has a good sense of humor that makes the interaction while he is teaching easier to retain.
