I had a ton of fun watching the Women's Rugby team play a home game. Although I am writing this review over a year later, I believe they lost their match. I borrowed a friend's 2 lawn chairs to use to sit at during the game. A friend came along with me and sat on the second lawn chair. After the game, the women's team hosted a free lunch celebration at their field house or club. They cooked burgers, provided snacks and drinks, and played music for all friends and family members who came to watch their match. The meeting location for home games for the men's and women's team is in a big open field in Akron. I noticed a small seating area but did not notice a concession stand for drinks/snacks. Although I grew up in a country in Southern Africa where Rugby is huge professional sport, I had no idea that there are Rugby fans in Northeast Ohio so that's pretty cool. There was a lot to see and you need to bring your walking and hiking shoes as there was some hills to climb at the zoo. Not actual hills but you had to move to higher ground to get the back of the zoo. What I do have to say is there is plenty of seating along the way. Another thing we noticed is many different things in between the animal sections places for the children to play and enjoy. The set up of this zoo was awesome and very engaging. Unfortunately, many of the animals were sleeping but it was fun looking for them and seeing them in their habitats. Only animal we didn't see was the red panda. I little disappointed but it was ok. I spent over a decade at AADBK, and I left feeling burned out, insecure, and devalued. My love for dance suffered immensely because the environment was toxic, not inspiring. Lori Messner at the front desk is the only one employed there who is worth any of your time. Kristen is a greedy woman who encourages this environment and should not be allowed to work with children. Your money will be better spent literally anywhere else, and you won't spend half as much as this place charges.
