I was ready to break my old back and do it myself but thought one more try. I got a couple of estimates and awarded the job to David at Mo Power Lawn Care. WHAT A BLESSING! He was here on time, did the project as quoted (and a bit more), and provided me with the take-away of the leaves in a timely manner. Energenic, personable, on point with the work, and mature beyond his years. I have already scheduled for next year and know that I will have another job well done in 2021.

Now this year, after doing my own landscaping, I did not make sure the dirt sloped away from the house. After the heavy rain we got on Tuesday, I had some water in my basement. But only in two spots where I did the landscaping in front of the house. I called them yesterday and left a message, and they called today and came over TODAY to add some top soil and fix the grading! It's supposed to rain all next week! Turf Works was recommended as a snow removal firm and I have used them this winter for clearing my drive. I have found them to be effective and reasonably priced. The snow plow driver is cheerful and courteous and comes when you expect. I recommend them for snow plowing and may try them this summer to plant a few trees for me.

My husband signed up for lawn treatments, and the first appointment was postponed because someone was sick. It was then pushed back again, and the same thing almost happened when our large landscaping project was scheduled. We received a text at 7:00 a.m. saying they wanted to postpone a job that was supposed to start at 8:00 a.m. Thankfully, they did end up showing. Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there. Their equipment damaged my front lawn, several of the plants they installed were already dead, and the underground drain extensions were installed incorrectly, causing water to pool after it rained. Someone eventually had to come back to fix that issue. The edging wasn't completed properly, and the mulch was spilling over into the lawn. In the end, I had to hire a completely different landscaping company to redo and fix much of the work, which cost us even more money. I will say that the two young men who completed the project were polite, hardworking, and respectful, and the salesperson was great to work with. My disappointment is with the overall management of the project and the lack of professionalism from the owner. After spending thousands of dollars, this experience was extremely frustrating. I can't recommend this company based on the quality of work and the customer service we received.
