They have more than 10 varieties of apples, which you can sample before you buy. Very thoughtful. I do wish you could buy smaller quantities, like 1 or 5 of a type. They were giving a free bag of apples to Veterans on Veterans Day, which was very nice. They also sell cups of hot apple cider, which was wonderful. We bought some strawberry rhubarb cream cheese that we thought had a bit too much sugar bc it was more like frosting, but it was wonderful frosting! Cute gift shop, kitchen tools, cheese, meat sticks, wood work. Just a great place. Will make it a stop on our trips to visit mom. Open year round at 8am.

After the planting we had concerns and it took forever to get them addressed. After on year we had about 30% of our plants failed. they were replaced after 3months of calling. After the second year we are now having to replace almost half the original plants, customer service is slow. But the flowers started to turn brown only 7 hours after I pickep the flower up. They do have a "guarantee" but it is 100 % false. (On their website it says "If you are not satisfied with the purchased FTD product, we will send a replacement or refund the full purchase price. All you need to do is notify us within 10 days of receipt of your FTD order. ) So I called the following morning hoping to get some of my money back only to be yelled at by the owner, and told the flowers were supposed to turn brown. Don't waste your effort/money on Salem Floral.

Plants are very healthy, lush, the grounds and surrounding area are inviting and attractive. We were offered a glass of wine and they even had ice pops for children. There's a gift shop, area for sitting and just enjoying being there. Very pleasant, the staff are friendly and helpful. We weren't planning on buying a tree so we didn't have a truck, but they wrapped it in plastic wrap and were able to put it in our car and we had no trouble transporting it. Very happy with our visit.

There is a $9.95 delivery fee and an option to tip online. They also have add-ons such as balloons, chocolates, candy, and stuffed animals.
