We walked in to a live band of jazz and felt like we had been taken back in time. Soiled Dove in Idaho Falls is a hidden gem for those craving hearty comfort food with a Western twist. Nestled in a cozy, rustic space adorned with vintage decor and warm lighting, this spot feels like a cross between a frontier saloon and a modern eatery--ideal for casual dinners, date nights, or post-adventure refueling. Perfect for a date night or just an out of town get away like we had. The drinks are ANOTHER LEVEL. I was boring with a smokey old fashion that left my hair smelling amazing the next morning. The man on my arm got a soiled dove #2 and it was tasty if you like a lot of sweetness. We met someone outside the place named Shawn who was a local there and he said the food was life changing. His go to: the meat balls and feta salad. Shout out to the boss babe who clearly either owned or lead the establishment. Total Sicilian Mob Boss vibes. You inspire me, Sis. From your outfits to the way you carry yourself, you are it girlfriend! Your staff made us feel at home and the security was tight. We will be back next Sturgis trip.

Let's start with the service. It's 10/10 every single time. The food incredible. The drinks even…read morebetter. Great place for a date night or to bring friends. We love it here.

Famously known for their prime rib, French dip sandwiches, and the legendary Jaker's Baker, no trip…read moreto Idaho Falls is complete without stopping at Jakers. It's the perfect spot for hearty, traditional Midwestern comfort food. After all, how can you visit Potato Country without enjoying at least one perfectly baked potato? A little fun (and mostly useless) fact: Potatoes are typically harvested once a year in the fall and stored in underground bunkers. The ones you usually buy in stores are often nearly a year old. And if a potato starts to sprout? It simply becomes part of the next season's crop. The moment you walk in, it feels like stepping into a time machine. The interior is warm and cozy, with darker tones, rich red accents, wood-paneled walls, and glass partitions. There's even a mud room and a coat rack ready for those chilly Idaho winter nights. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. Our server introduced herself right away and took our drink orders with a smile. I went with the Ultimate Philly--tender, well-done strips of their famous prime rib, grilled onions and peppers, all smothered in a rich cheese sauce. It came with a side of au jus for dipping and your choice of side. I couldn't resist ordering the Jaker's Baker, a massive Idaho potato loaded with all the toppings. The prime rib was flavorful and juicy, and the baked potato was hearty and satisfying--the ultimate classic meat-and-potatoes meal. When I travel, I love experiencing local flavor, and Jakers delivers exactly that.

That was a lovely baked potato. It's what the restaurant is known for so good to try it. I also ordered a strawberry lemonade but I think the lemonade was country time or something that had a bitter after taste so I sent it back and the waitress took it off my bill. The waitress kind but never ordered to refill any of our waters.
