April 2026 Idaho Falls, Idaho I was surprised to see this place is attached to a hotel when I drove up. Typically I do not eat at restaurants that are attached to a hotel. However, Yelp told me it was a 4.3 star place to eat. I asked if they had any nonalcoholic beers. The waiter brings me a can of beer to show me what it is. When I tell him that I will have it. He says well I'll just take it back and put it in a glass. So they bring me a 16 ounce glass with the beer poured in and it only filled 12 ounces. I ordered the Nacho Mama's Dip. It is a chicken nacho dip. The waiter told me it was a large portion so I am eating that just as my meal. My husband ordered the fish and chips. When you walk in the front door, the bar is right there. Pretty large bar for one to sit and enjoy a drink or a meal. To the right our booths and high tables that line the wall as well as some booths in the middle of the restaurant that make you feel like you are sitting under a gazebo. There are tables and booths on the far wall as well. The tables are cut to appear like a live edge wood top table. The booths sit too low and the table sits high. Even my husband who is 6'2 felt an imbalance with the table to chair. My nachos come out and the cheese sauce is dripping off the side of the dish. It is an absolute mess. The nacho chips are off to the side. The toppings consist of black olives and onions with four pieces of diced tomatoes. Accompanied by a side plastic dish is salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. The guacamole is definitely not homemade. My biggest complaint is the cheese sauce is definitely from a can. The cheese that they did put on the nachos was a slice of cheese that was not even melted. See picture. Reminds me that I am eating in a restaurant attached to a hotel. There are no beans. The chicken is mixed in with the cheese sauce. And it is sparingly there. This dish is absolutely disgusting! The fish and chips were terrible. They're served in a basket with four pieces of fish and they sit upon fresh cut fries. The fish was not good. The batter has a odd taste. Perhaps the oil it is fried in? I think I would've been better off going to Culver's and having their fish platter. Although my beYr was in a can, it was very cold. It was truly the best part of my meal. I am so disappointed that yelp led me to this place. This is my warning to others. Stay away. The Pink Floyd Dipper was incredible--house-made Alfredo mixed with their house marinara, paired with bread drizzled in balsamic... absolutely a flavor explosion! We followed it with the corned beef soup, which was more like a rich, hearty stew. The tender brisket literally melted in your mouth. And for the potato lovers--this place is heaven! Mashed, home fries, and balsamic fries... we just had to try it all. Even though we were completely full, we couldn't pass up GMA's "Slutty" Peanut Butter Brownie. Warm, topped with ice cream, whipped cream, cookie crumbles, Fruity Pebbles, fresh strawberries, and hot fudge... and yes, we finished it. Now we're officially in a food coma! A huge thank you to our Uber driver--and owner of the Yellowstone Motel--for recommending this unique spot. My partner and I had a lovely dining experience at Bee's Knees. Jace was our server and she was perfect. We told Jace we wanted to dine and take our time so we would order each course when we were done with the previous one. It worked for us. We were in no hurry. We began with Papa's Favorite Baked Bree. It was delish. The toasted pita was a perfect compliment to the brie and fruit. Our next course was a Caesar salad which we split. The salad was nicely dressed and the croutons were crunchy and tasty. It was just right. We then had the soup de jour. It was a lovely beef vegetable and thick - more of a stew than a soup. The seasonings were savory and delightful. Our main courses were the Sweet Chili Fire Grilled Salmon and the 14 oz Rib Eye steak. By this time we knew we were going to be taking home left overs. And we ordered so they would reheat well. This was the one stumble - the Salmon was not cooked like we prefer it. It was too dry for my partner. So they graciously allowed us to order the Jamaican Jerk Pork Medallions. Both the beef and the pork entrees were amazing. With each came a side of smashed potatoes. To finish this off we waited for a while and then each had a milkshake. I had the chocolate fudge shake and my partner had the berry shake. Oh My!!! They were wonderful. They were ice creamy perfect. This was one of my favorite places to eat in Idaho Falls. Came here with a friend for a casual bite, but this place works great for a full meal too since the food has large portion sizes. Staff is very friendly. There is a large menu selection so I could see myself coming back multiple times to try more of their burgers, seafood, appetizers, etc. They also have daily specials and fun events like trivia nights! My favorite was the Gouda Mac n Cheese bites (best bites I've ever had!). The burger was thick and juicy. The fries were solid and you can get them in different cuts, so that's also a fun customization. I'd just skip out on the bee's knees ice cream next time. It's great if you like a plain flavor, but there was not as much honeycomb as I was expecting and it ended up being a slightly sticky mess because the cup was filled to the brim. No issue with parking as it's next to the FairBridge Hotel. read more

I wish I could give this place 100 stars!!! The accommodated 12 of us on a big road trip with less than 2 hours notice. We had the cutest server in the world (Eva, we love you!!!!). The inside is so cute and whimsical and the food.....?!?! PHENOMENAL!!! Holy cow! We all got very different meals and every single one of them was to die for. A million hats off to the chef because we were in awe. Fresh soups, the salmon salad and ahi nachos were incredible, oh and the French dip and Jamaican medallions!!! I cannot rave enough. I hadn't been to a restaurant in 4 months (reasons), so my spouse took me to one of her favorite restaurants that I had not been to yet. We started with a baked brie and fruit appetizer which was excellent. For the entree, I examined the menu and asked if they could make their salmon rare, as I currently couldn't eat food that was even close to dry. She said she'd ask the chef to do so. After a time, she came out and said our meals were about ready, and casually said that the chef was making my salmon medium (which for Idaho, usually means well done, IMO). I immediately said that was an issue for me, and if dry, I'd have to send it back. She said hold on, and the chef came out carrying my entree. He said he wasn't allowed to cook it rare, as the salmon they bought wasn't even close to sushi quality. He said to taste it, and he could add a lot of sauce so it wouldn't be dry. As I expected, the fish was cooked Idaho style, i.e well-done (imo). I said it couldn't work for me, so he said no problem just order a different dish and I'll make sure it's juicy and with lots of sauce. I thanked him, saying his explanation made perfect sense. He said "of course". The server apologized profusely, but I was laughing, saying, "so what will you say if someone else asks if you can make the salmon rare?" Her immediate answer was "NO, of course!" Bee's Knees had turned a potential issue into something everyone ended up laughing about. I ordered pork medallions which indeed came out juicy, with lots of sauce, and a beautiful presentation. We rarely have dessert, but they had old fashioned milkshakes! I hadn't had one in years, so I got Berry (fresh berries blended with real ice cream), while my spouse got caramel fudge. They were marvelous and evoked old memories. We were closing the place down as this was sort of special for me as I love eating out (hey I'm a Yelp elite!) and hadn't done so in quite some time. Totally recommended! read more

The restaurant is located in a hotel, with their own entrance, but don't let that scare you away. The atmosphere of this place is warm and welcoming and the staff treat you like a local. I was able to enjoy the Jamaican Jerk Pork Medallions. Each entree comes with soup and a side. When I asked what soups they had the waitress rattled off 7 yes I said 7 different soups. I chose to have the lemon chicken and asparagus soup. I had to try it as I have never heard of this combo before. It was a light and tasty soup that was the right balance of citrus and other spices. The pork medallions were cooked well and the jerk spice was a nice touch. I wasn't a fan of the pineapple sassy salsa as it was more onion than anything else. The side I chose was the home fries and balsamic. I have never had balsamic reduction on my fries before but it may be my new go to. They do make their own lemonade in house as well as their own strawberry lemonade. So....yep I had to have some of their delicious strawberry lemonade. It was worth the extra calories as it was the additional sweetness that I needed for this meal. read more

Wasn't too sure as Bee's Knees is nuzzled in what appears to be an older hotel which has seen better days. Still the Yelp rating prompted me to try it. First ordered a cup of their chili and then the prime rib French Dip which I enjoyed very much although could have used some more mushrooms and peppers. You HAVE to stop by! What a delightful place in all aspects. I was a little skeptical when I saw it was attached to a hotel - but it was So Worth It! Such a cute bar/restaurant. Loved the decor and they were playing ESPN on the TV and good folk/rock music - not too loud but really god music.. Full bar and cozy. I have to give a shout out to the wait staff! Dillon was the best. They helped me decide on the breakfast nachos and it was so flavorful. The blend of flavors and combination of breakfast foods and gravy, on kettle potato chips was so good. Beware - its Hige! I could only stuff 1/2 of it into my pie-hole. I wanted more, but I already was down a bloody Mary (Amazing) and the nachos are a big meal for two, appetizer for 4-6. Can't recommend this place enough. And if youre lucky enough to get Dillon to serve you - it will make an unforgettable visit. Bee's Knees Pub is known locally as a crap shoot for timely or even knowledgeable service, either from the kitchen or tableside, and that includes the bar. It can be empty one visit and packed the next. The first food can arrive in ten minutes or an hour, or later. For such a small setting, communication between server, bar tender, and kitchen can and does often go awry. It is curiosity, and worth a try. Cross your fingers. read more

We were stopping through and decided to eat here based on the positive yelp reviews. It was talked up so much that perhaps my expectations were too high. We got an appetizer and various meals for dinner. The appetizer was decent but tasted like a frozen snack from Costco, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I got the chicken asparagus dish and it was odd. They stacked what looked like lunch meat, covered it with cheese and sauce. We had such a great dinner at Bee's Knees in Idaho Falls! I ordered the prime rib, my husband got the Pink Floyd chicken fettuccine, and our son had the hamburger -- everything was absolutely delicious. The salad that came with my steak was worth every penny of the small upcharge -- fresh, flavorful, and the dressing tasted homemade (so good!). We visited Idaho Falls for the day and were starving after walking a couple of miles along the Riverwalk. This nearby spot popped up and was actually connected to the Shilo Inn Hotel. We walked in and immediately noticed the bar to our left and booths or high tables available. The menu was definitely bacon and cheese heavy. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich con queso without the queso. It was topped with brown sugared bacon, tomato, green chilies, and avocado. I would have preferred fresh avocado over the packaged spread. The initial bites were good, and I loved the green chilies, but it just got really messy halfway through, and I was over it. Fried chicken itself was just ok. I ordered the side salad without cheese, and the server dropped off a salad covered in cheese. She apologized and gave it to my husband, and made another for me, which I appreciated. Side salad was good, especially if you love bacon. We also tried the Praire Burger, topped with asparagus, bell peppers, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese. This would have been a great burger, but it was overcooked. The best part of the meal was the sidewinder fries. Super crispy, nice sized fries that were seasoned perfectly. Overall, awesome service! However, it was just an ok experience foodwise. read more

Sweet and savory tied up all into one with a generous portion of bacon on the bacon flight(chocolate, candied, and peppered). Then bacon wrapped stuffed mushrooms with jalapeño cream cheese?! Chefs kiss! If you manage to still have room and you are still hungry after the two huge appetizers. Go for the chicken and waffle sammich. It's chicken and waffles with a twist. Two Belgium waffles encase fried chicken with two drippy eggs and it's to die for. I was so full I took it to go for dinner. 10/10 highly recommend. The best wing spot in idaho falls. They are an appetizer but my husband and I get two orders of them and share! The wings aren't a typical buffalo but a homemade sauce I've never had anything like. It has a bit of heat (and i'm very weak when it comes to spicy but i love these). Best most flavorful wings in the world. They're crunchy and so fresh. You also have to get a grandmas slutty brownie. The combo of all the toppings doesn't sound appealing but is the best ever. The fruity pebbles are the best part. It's worth going just to order this. We've had the chicken chardonnay, steak, chicken sandwich, and burger. They're all great entees, but again nothing compares to the wings. We ordered entrees the first couple times with wings as the appetizer, but wished we could just eat more of the wings haha. The servers are always so nice & it's the cutest place! Our hotel recommended this place so we drove over for dinner. We didn't know what to think when we realized it was inside a small hotel but we ended up loving it! We absolutely loved the boutique style restaurant from the decor, the music, the food, the price and the service were all outstanding. If you get the chance, definitely stop by this cute little restaurant. The food is flavorful and the portions are huge and the prices are awesome! My toddler loved her kids meal ... I actually haven't seen her eat this much during our travel.
