Mermaid Nina's friend, Pinky Plankton, guided us on a lovely boat ride to search for Nina. Pinky made the ride fun - interacting with the children, and educated us all about how to protect our oceans. The boat ride was an hour and fifteen minutes. The perfect amount of time for young children. The boat is comfortable and holds approximately 20 to 25 people. Once Nina was found, she stayed in character the entire time. Even when the evil Professor Al G tried to kidnap her. Nina explained how to protect the ocean and encouraged questions from children and adults too. When I was scheduling this excursion, I thought it was a little pricey, but after the experience was over (and watching how much fun my daughter had) I changed my mind and realized it was worth every penny! They're two seaters, one of you will drive and they do a full walkthrough ahead of time so you're comfortable. James led our tour. We probably stopped 6 times during our time out to look at dolphins he spotted. They got within 8 feet of us! We got to see a lot of the island's coastline as well. Finding him and the boat was easy and he was ready to go. We took advantage of the cooler on board and thanks for the blanket because it did get cold once the sun set.
