They had several produce vendors represented and as we made our rounds, something in my universe suddenly shifted because I caught the sight and smell of something special. We came upon a vendor (KT Eggs), selling fresh chicken sausage and organic eggs. I could not tell you anything else because I suddenly became fixated on that sausage. We taste it and BAM!!, the magic happens. This is the type of sausage, (Extra Hot Italian), we have been searching for since leaving New York several years ago. It is minimally processed, low in sodium and absolutely delicious! The ingredients are chicken, water and spices. WHAT? You mean I not only get fresh homemade sausage but I also recognize the ingredients? Get out!!! Wow, this sausage alone was worth the trip to the market and as I write this review I am enjoying that wonderful smell all over again. Glorious! If you want to get your hands on this sausage, I suggest you Google KT Eggs and go to their Facebook page which is full of helpful information. They have Beer, Wine, Water, Juice, Soda, Gatorade and snacks. They have a favorite girl that works there, her name is Angie. When my grandkids see her they get all excited. She greets you warmly each time you drive thru, she remembers what you usually get. Angie talks to the kids and they love that. When my grandkids see her car there they want to visit her. When we pulled up to get waters last night it took only a couple minutes to get our water and go. It's handy to have close to home, my daughter says she is there every other day at least.

My friends really wanted to visit the Guggisberg cheese factory but they were closed for the day. This store offers not only cheese but other smaller grocery and household items such as butter, apple butter, mugs, t-shirts, etc. I don't like cheese so I didn't buy any cheese. My friends may have bought small cheese blocks but I can't remember. They did sample some cheese which they liked. MY PURCHASES -- I bought an Italian bread dipping mix which is a small tin of herbs. I finally tried the dip in April 2026 by adding olive oil the dipping bread in it. The spice mix is too strong so I don't like it that much and I don't believe it was made locally. I also bought Apple butter which is locally made and tastes good. The Apple butter is too sweet for me though so I've hardly eaten it but it goes well with toast. Part deli, part gift shop, part factory. This cheese shop's…read moreclaim to fame is is that they are the creators of baby swiss. They are apparently now one of the largest manufacturers of swiss cheese in the US. When you enter, there is a shop which is a combination of gift shop, cheese accessories and grocery items. There is signage that shows off their awards, talks about some of their history and also takes about the difference between regular and baby swiss. The deli where you can get freshly sliced cheese is in the back. The clerks were extremely friendly answering questions and providing samples of anything you want to try. Much like the outside, the inside continues the swiss theme. The reason I gave it four instead of five stars is the space itself. It was really congested even though it wasn't really all that crowded. I can't imagine what it would be like on a busier day. J don't know what, if anything can be done about this that, but it definitely can be hard yo navigate if you have mobility issues or don't like crowds. Oh and the cheese hats are a fun nice touch.
