    Bavarian Soft Pretzels
    Lauren L.

Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 My friend and I decided to pop into Mustards after a quick game of pickleball at the Tuscora Park. I have been here a few times for some wine (which is always delicious, btw) but this was my first time sitting down for a full meal. Instead of wine today, I went for the fruit beer they currently have on tap. I was too quick to take a sip or two before snapping the pic, but it was delicious! We split the Bavarian soft pretzels which I would HIGHLY recommend. They were warm and soft and come with a delicious dipping mustard with a thick texture. I ordered The Wall Street, which is Mustard's take on a Reuben. It was definitely one of the better ones I have had; each ingredient ratio was perfect (some places go a little too heavy on the sauerkraut imo). My friend ordered the Tummy Pleaser. She said it was also delicious and was a perfect light sandwich to order if you're not looking for anything too heavy. The sizes of each dish were also quite reasonable for the price, as you can see from the photos. Our server was kind and timely, but did not provide any sort of exceptional service. Just the basics. The atmosphere inside is rather calm and warm. I'm giving only 4 stars because of the music; I love 90s rap, but it does not fit the vibe. Overall, I would definitely recommend Mustards if you're looking for a low key lunch or some drinks!

This place rocks and is such a great addition to the downtown area! Cauliflower crust pizza is da bomb. Best beer selection around.

Winetagous is a really fun place that offers both wine and beer. They have samples (50 cents per sample), tasting flights, drinks by the glass or bottle and also have wine slushies. There is a variety of seating inside and there is also a seating area with a variety of furniture that is for sale right outside of the winery space. I love the fun names of the wines. They have a nice variety, everything from dry reds to super sweet fruity ones. In my flight, I tried one dry red, one dry white, a slightly sparkly white and one fruity red. It was a great mix. They also have a selection of craft beers. My husband tried a cider and two beers but ultimately really loved the amber beer and settled on getting a pint of that. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their products and about the area in general. It was fun chatting about how they came up with some of the names. They are usually only open until 5, but once a month on the second Saturday of the month they are open later and often have a food truck and live music. A fun place to check out! Worth the stop.

The wine is so good. Very clean taste - not "syrupy" at all - the "warm" wine was amazing and tasted like fall. Such a cute place !!

I have mixed feelings about our experience here. We had…read morenever been, just drove past on our way somewhere else and decided that it would be a fun place to try. We walked in and entered the room with all of the bottles for sale. I asked where they do tastings and the staff told us that is in the next room over. When we went in, I asked what we needed to do in order to taste. (there are large signs at the "bar" area that they do not do tastings at the bar). We were greeted with a "go over to one of the tables" but kind of with an attitude like we should have known better to just go over to a table instead of asking a question. Once we did visit a table, there is a list of wines on a paper and pens. You can taste as many as you want, but can only sample four at a time. Samples are 50 cents each. I enjoyed some of the dryer reds, but wasn't a fan of certain specialty ones (the dandelion one really intrigued me but both my husband and I disliked it). The person doing the sampling the day we were there didn't seem to like the fact that I was asking questions about the wine and the winery. There was a definite attitude. Maybe it is because we weren't regulars or seemed like we wouldn't buy or something. But it was definitely off putting. The staff in the front room were definitely much friendlier and accommodating. Overall, a fun stop, but not one I'd rush back to next time I'm in the area.

They have a room for "take out/ food" and then a room for tastings, and more rooms with just tables. Then an outside barn area, they had live music out there, and outside bathrooms. The wine was good. I sampled 4 dry red wines and my husband sampled some of the semi- sweet wines. We then got a glass/ bottle and ordered pizza then went to the barn. We waited almost an entire hour for a subpar small pizza priced at $14 at 6:30ish. The wine lady said they would be open until 7 for wines as we went up to buy a couple bottle before we left the lights were off and doors were unlocked but no one inside so wasn't able to buy a bottle. More thoughts needs to go into The barn space, a nice rustic "venue" but the thought into running a smooth winery just wasn't there that night.

We had a lovely time though we weren't thrilled about sitting in the tiny side room at the tiny 4-person bar with our backs to the room...it felt cramped. Our server helped us choose the perfect bottle of wine from an extensive collection. The apples and rice appetizer was excellent..like arancini balls. My husband had the duck and liked it. I had the lumache which was just ok. The pasta was a little too al dente and the large clumsy shells didn't seem like the right shape for the delicate dish. It was supposed to come with shrimp, but surprise...nope! It came with lobster. I find lobster a bit sweet and thought shrimp would have worked better. This girl is usually in the clean plate club when it comes to pasta and seafood dishes but not tonight. I will say that the dessert alone was worth the one hour drive.. the smoked smores arrived with a bell jar of smoke which the server whisked off to reveal a delectable gooey to-die-for cake smothered in caramel and marshmallow. Did I mention it came with two cups of hot white chocolate to pour over the whole thing? Omg..drool-worthy.
