I have worked in the animal care field for many years and I knew that was way too high. A dental cleaning at Auburn runs $125. That's a HUGE significance. I also switched because some of the people I work with come here, even driving over 40 mins just to see the vets at this clinic. That says a lot.

Even when one of my cats was bitten by a Lone Star tick and contracted "bobcat fever" (a blood parasite still pretty rare in this area and treated with meds similar to fighting malaria), they contacted K-State for guidance and quickly went to work to fight off the disease. While the disease progressed so rapidly, and Squeege was unable to be saved, the amount of work and compassion they delivered was impressive. They care for your critters like they are their own. My critters absolutely love them! And so do I.

She was fine for the two days before we took her to the vet. My mother specifically told them NOT to put flea and tick treatment on her because of how small she was (not only was she a kitten, but she was a runt and incredibly malnourished). Because of construction my family wasn't able to go back with the kitten and by the time they had brought her back out, she already had the flea and tick treatment on her. We brought her home and she was really sleepy and lethargic and only a couple hours later we found her dead. The only thing they could offer up for their mistakes was a measly apology. An apology wont bring back the kitten we lost, or the money we lost either for a treatment we DIDN'T WANT. This is my very first Yelp review and I hate that it has to be such an awful one.

Dr Hanson and Practice Mgr, Linda, couldn't have been more caring, supportive, and kind. In fact every staff member was respectful of the sad occasion and provided emotional support. I highly recommend this clinic to all cat parents.
