Secondly, the overhead motor unit was missing the light bulb that came with the unit, he never installed it. The worst part of Scott's work was about clean up; he promised to take all of the parts from the old garage door, but instead, he left large pile of parts from the old garage door on the side of the house; rollers, parts of the track and cabling, he hid these under some plywood I had. I had called Edison overhead door to come out and replace a spring on my garage door. The woman on…read morethe phone told me that they carried most springs on the service truck. It turned out that they did not have the spring on the truck but still had to charge me for a service call. I asked the service tech if we could dismantle the old springs in order to have the door ready for the new ones, as they charge by the hour. He did not want to do this and I had to pay for the visit. After a couple days they scheduled another visit with the correct springs. The tech called me and said he was all done but the opener would not work correctly. He advised me the call lift master tech support to ask how to program the limits and then said that he felt there was something wrong with the opener and it may have to be replaced. After watching a video on how to program the opener, I had to set it myself. I did not expect this from a company that has been in business for so many year,although the tech explained that they where bought out and are under different management. The supervisor took my phone call when the tech could not seem to program the door and has not returned a call since. Needless to say, I did not have a very good experience with this company.
